Hoping to adopt a Shih Tzu in Edmonton AB?

Jacko is about the sweetest little dog you will meet. He is cute as a bug’s ear and a delight to be around. 11 years young, Jacko is a healthy, happy dog with many years of love and joy to add to a special someone’s life. Jacko is fixed and up to date on shots. He is house-broken,  micro-chipped and leash trained. Jacko has a tendency for getting bladder stones, so needs to stick to a prescription dog food, fed three times a day in small meals. He also has some allergies that are managed as needed.

Jacko’s owner is moving to Mexico and cannot take him, nor his friend Lizzy, a female Chihuahua, along with her. She is dearly hoping to find both dogs a loving new home – together – or separately.  She is looking for someone who will cherish him and keep him safe, happy and healthy for the remaining years of his life. He is such a sweet little dog that caring for him is an easy job. He gives far more than he asks for in the way of care and keeping.

If you have room in your heart and home for this fluffy little bundle of love and licks, please offer Jacko his forever home today. He can’t wait to show you the true meaning of unconditional love.

Jacko’s Personality

Jacko is a sweet, calm an gentle boy. He is not so much a lap dog as he is I want to be where you are kind of dog. Sometimes he likes to be pickup like a baby and get his belly rub. He does sleep with me. Once in a while, he likes to play chase me and try to get my toy and a bit of tug a war.

He usually get excited when people come over as he thinks he’s gonna to get a treat, (which he usually does ) He loves his treats. (freeze dry beef liver). He sits and its about it for commands. lol  (That and going out to do his business). He is ok to be left alone. no destructive behaviour. I have a feeling that he spends all of his time sleeping by the door.

I have another dog. They get along but they are not bonded. Lizzy is definitely the dominant one and Jacko is sometimes scared of her. I said that Jacko get along with adults only and strangers coming into the house as I don’t know about children. He was ok when Lizzy came to the house, so maybe he would be ok with another dog, but he definitively hates cats.

Why is Jacko Being Rehomed?

I’m moving to Mexico and cannot take him with me

Jacko’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
