Maggie is a delightful 7 year old, 49 pound Redbone Coonhound mix. She is such a good ole hound dog! She is happy just hanging out with her favorite humans. She is affectionate, very obedient, and easy going.

Maggie’s owner’s wife had a sudden and very severe stroke, and is facing many months of rehabilitation in Atlanta before she can come home.
Because of the intensive care she will need once home, and her owners being in Atlanta for many months to come, they are dearly hoping to find Maggie a loving new home. She can be adopted on her own, or with her best friend, Chester, a great little Carolina Dog mix pictured just beside her.

Maggie has free rein to go in and out of the house as she likes thru the doggie door to the back yard. One night she was out after dark and an oposum was on our fence. Maggie went crazy barking and trying to climb the 6 foot wooden fence to get to the opossum. I had to pick her up and carry her in the house to get her to stop barking. She has a strong hound instinct!!
