Adorable Lab Mix For Adoption 7

Bane has been adopted. Thank you for your interest.

Adorable lab mix for adoption 7

Have you been looking for a really nice companion for your family? Bane would love to apply for the position of beloved family dog. This adorable Labrador Retriever mix is as cute as a bugs’ ear, and has such a friendly, outgoing personality. He’s very smart, a little on the clumsy side, very playful and well behaved when he needs to be. He’s just 7 months old, and has had all of his vet stuff taken care of.

Bane is neutered, up to date on his shots, and very healthy. He has been house broken and leash trained. He’s a really good boy.

Bane is being rehomed by his foster owners. They found him when he was younger, and their intent was always to take care of his needs and find him a forever family when the time was right. He’s now ready to spread his wings and leave his foster home. He is looking for a great home where he will receive the love, attention, care and exercise that he needs and very much deserves.

Bane is not good with cats, so a home without cats is essential. He does not have a lot of experience with children, but both of the breeds that go into his mix (Beagle and Lab) are among the best dog breeds for children. Because he is a puppy, he would be best suited for families with children aged 6 and up.

Bane has a lot of energy and needs daily exercise. He would like a home with a big, securely fenced back yard, and a family who have the time to play with him.  He would be great with a younger dog who is looking for a playmate.

This is a very special puppy who deserves a special home. He wants to be a first-hand family member in a home where he will be your focus, and not an after-thought. If you would like to consider him for your cherished family companion, please get in touch by filling out our “online meeting request form” below. Once received, Bane’s foster owners will contact you to arrange a good time to meet.

Bane’s Personality

He is kinda clumsy and lumbering.
He truly is a cuddle buddy.
Does really well in public settings.
Even being a young puppy does not mess with things that are not his toys. 🙂
Bane captures the true innocents in a dogs that i can not quite put into words.

Bane’s Current Home Environment

Good size house and back yard. There are three other dogs with bane here at the house. Two of those dogs are elderly thus, the reason i suggested younger dogs would work best with bane. He does not play with these two in a rough way for the most part he will nip shadow in the but and run away a few feet. Put his head low to the ground, butt way high in the sky and wag his tail and bark at shadow. Him and Nala who is my four year old Aussie play together all the time. Even have a video of them literally share a rawhide together ( it is cute).

Bane’s Current Family:

For the most part it is just me and my girlfriend who take care of bane. My parents have little to do with him as we were the ones who found him and took him in. With that being said all four of us are huge dog people ,who treat our canines as part of the family.

Bane’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

Loves rope toys to play tug a war with. We generally buy him a cheap stuff squeaker toy that are by the registers at petsmart. He is super food oriented, he currently eats the blue wilderness with my dogs. Dinner and breakfast are seriously some of his favorite moments. Being outside in general, rolling in grass, car rides, dog parks, leash walks, tug a war, playing with other dogs, and really bane just loves being with his people. Be it outdoors with you or sleeping on the couch. Truly just needs someone to love him half as much as he will love you to live an amazing life.

Cute Bane Story:

One time Bane was already in bed with me asleep, when my brother and his roommates came home. We both got out of bed to greet them and i stayed up to talk to them for awhile and so did Bane. However, bane was so tired from his day already and needed to go back to bed he fought it and i swear it seemed like this dog was drunk. He was stopping his lick half way on one of the roommates face and just left his tongue on his cheek for like five seconds before he could remember what exactly he was doing. They were on a pull out bed from the couch where there is a little gap from where the bed comes out and the back of the couch. Bane was sitting and started to dose off, slowly falling backwards. He fell through the little gap and only half of his body made it down so all you see is his butt just straight up in the air and that is it.

Why is Bane Being Rehomed?

We found bane and we put up flyers, used social media and even went around to all nearby vets, petsmarts and dog parks to find his original home. We had no luck as he was also not wearing any tags either. We have taken care of all his vet needs and neutering all in order to find this guy his forever home. I stated eariler there are already three dogs in this household. Plus my girlfriend and I are planning to move to New Zealand in the next coming months. We already are paying an arm and a leg for our dog Nala to come with and just do not have the funds to take bane as well. My parents already have the two elderly dogs and would prefer to wait on getting another dog until these ones have lived their lives to the fullest. We are willing to do what ever we can to find this guy a loving and caring home as we have come to love Bane in a short amount of time as well.

Bane’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

I always love dog people and those who have had dogs at some point in their lives. I suggest someone or a family who would take Bane with them to places and spend the amount of time to truly make a dogs life wonderful. Those are two generic things i always like when i see or talk with dog owners. In specific i would recommend someone/family with a somewhat active lifestyle as he loves the outdoors. Stated before if looking for a playmate Bane would be great for that but i would try to avoid elderly dogs. He just needs some love and a little discipline and he is going to make someones life better than what it was, is all i can say.

Additional Comments:

I would love to hear back from the person or family that adopts Bane to make sure it is going smooth. I will be moving to New Zealand so i would just want to make sure that he is having a good time with his new home and that would be it. I would love to be able to find him this home before i go and not surrender him to CAP even though they do great work. It is still a kennel and Bane does not deserve to be put into that environment (no dogs do). I do not quite have a youtube video yet. I guess in the next week i can put together clips of pictures and videos together and send you guys the youtube link when it is done. Thank you guys for any help with Bane.
