From DC:

Hello Debbie:

Thanks for the opportunity to adopt Cinco. Meeting and bringing Cinco home went very smoothly. He seems very happy exploring every niche of my house with frequent breaks for petting.
Thanks again

Here’s how we presented Cinco to attract his new family, who drove all the way from Philadelphia to meet him!

Hi, My name is Cinco!

Cinco - adorable bengal mix kitten for adoption nyc 3If you are looking for the world’s most fabulous kitten, let me introduce myself. I am called Cinco, and I am a delightful Bengal mix boy cat. I live with my owner in New York City. I am just 7 months old, very healthy, neutered and up to date on my vaccinations.

I am a very gregarious cat. I LOVE people! My favorite activities, are snuggling, playing, more snuggling, more playing, and hanging on your every word. I am definitely NOT aloof or independent like some cats tend to be. Nope – I love hanging out with my human and really give dogs a run for their money when it comes to being “Man’s best friend”.

I am the cherished companion of a young single lady who says I have made her feel loved and cared for in this big, cold city. I may be small, but I have a big heart!

Catherine loves me very, very much. It absolutely breaks her heart that she needs to find me a new home and she is going to miss me terribly. A career change that was beyond her control has made it so that she cannot spend very much time with me. She has to take long trips very often, and work long hours.

With me being such a loving cat, I need to be with someone who has lots of time to spend with me. I am such a special boy and deserve to be the cherished center of my owners’ world. I’d love to move in with a single or couple who will spoil me rotten. Did I mention that I love to snuggle? I would be a great emotional support pet.

I will be bringing all of my cat belongings with me to my new home, including my cat tree, litter box, mat and brush. I also have veterinary health insurance that my owner will pay for the next several months, after which you can easily take it over.

Cats like me don’t come along very often. Please offer me a terrific home today. I can’t wait to play and purr my way into your heart!

Love,

Cinco

Cinco’s Personality

Affection. Personable. Cuddly. Playful. Sweet. Does not have a traditional “cat” personality.

Cinco’s Current Home Environment

1 bedroom apartment “new york” apartment – so smaller. I do have cat tree, however Cinco loves to jump and play every where.

Cinco’s Current Family:

It’s just me!

Cinco’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

My cat loves to play with feathers and anything attached to a string where he can run and chase it to his cat tree. However, I would say his favorite thing is to cuddle at night and sleep right next to your nook. And give you a sweet kiss in the morning.

Cute Cinco Story:

Every morning my cat wakes me up to sweet kisses (maybe because he’s hungry) but also because he loves kisses and cuddles. If I wake up in the middle of the night he adjusts so that he is directly in my nook – this is definitely a cat that loves to be affectionate and loved.

Why is Cinco Being Rehomed?

I just received a new position and I will have to travel 80% of the time. I did not see this job coming, as I live alone and my family is in another state – there is no one to help me with Cinco. I don’t feel its right to leave him alone, especially so young, for such long amounts of time – even with a cat sitter every day. I dont want him to loose his sweetness.

Cinco’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

This is such a hard decision for me, but I would like to maybe visit if possible with a new owner. Someone who like to sleep with their animals and love to pet and cuddle. This cat needs affection! Kisses included.

Additional Comments:

I am really torn up about this and hoping I am making the right decision. I found your site online, so hoping your services can help. The picture provided of Cinco is around 5 months, I have more recent photos if necessary.
