Request to Adopt Cora Here

There is a $25 adoption/rehoming fee. Supplies and veterinary records will be included.

If you are looking for a cute little cat, they don’t come much cuter than Cora. This adorable 2 year old Torbie female has such a lovely personality. She is playful and affectionate, and likes to have a very strong emotional bond with her owner.

Cora can be a little shy at first (like almost all cats), but once she gets to know her owner, she is the ultimate lap cat. She is talkative and a great communicator – she is particularly good at listening when you have had a long, hard day at work. (And, by the way, she is always on your side!).

Cora had a rough start in life. She ended up in a shelter and then in the PetSmart adoption center where she caught the eye of her foster Mom, Carolyn. Carolyn had hoped to be Cora’s forever home, but it turned out that Cora does not like to share her home with other cats. Carolyn is dearly hoping to find Cora a great home – one where she will be cherished, cuddled, played with and kept safe, happy and healthy for life.

Carolyn has really brought Cora out of her shell. She has learned to trust that life is good and people are kind. Hopefully Cora’s next owner will continue helping her to become Denver’s most wonderful cat. (She is well on the way there!)

If you have a safe, happy and healthy home without other cats or toddlers, and would like to offer Cora a loving home, please get in touch. Cora can’t wait to purr and play her way into your heart!

Cora’s Current Home Environment

Cora lives in a cat-friendly home with her owner and an older cat. She is currently sequestered in her own area of the home as she is not willing to co-exist peacefully with her feline house mate.

Cora’s Current Family:

Cora was adopted by a die hard cat lover from a PetSmart adoption center. The center did not fully appreciate Cora’s unique personality and the owner was not informed that Cora does not get along with other cats. Because her other cat is older and is starting to experience stress-related issues as a result of feeling anxious with Cora in the home.

Why is Cora Being Rehomed?

Cora needs to be in a home where she is the only cat. She was adopted from PetSmart, but once brought home, it was apparent that she is not good with other cats. The owner does not want to subject Cora to having to go through a series of unsuccessful adoptions again. She wants her to find the very best home – perfectly suited to this beautiful little cats’ unique personality. Cora deserves to have a good home, and her owner is dedicated to finding her the right situation.

Cora’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

She is best placed in a home without other cats, and without children under the age of 8.

She is a sweet, young cat with lots of forgiveness. She needs a fresh start as someone’s very special cherished companion. Someone who will give her the time and space she needs to warm up to them. She has already become a lap cat. This lovely cat will be the ultimate feline friend.

Additional Comments:

If you are a cat lover in need of a loving friend, please consider offering Cora a home. She is a very special cat and will make a wonderful companion.
