Cosby’s Current Home Environment

Single family home. Couple with new baby.

Cosby’s Current Family:

Couple have always doted on Cosby and with the arrival of a new baby they just can’t give him the attention he is used to. The want the best for Cosby and feel that another owner can provide this better.

Hillside Veterinary Clinic for vet records.

Cosby’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

He loves to snuggle and watch sports on TV. His favorite sports are Hockey and Swimming. His favorite team is the Blackhawks. He also likes watching movies.

Cute Cosby Story:

Close to owners. Out for a walk near a lake. Saw some Ducks in lake. Owners let him sniff the direction of the ducks. He took of for a swim towards the ducks and swam about 1/2 way across lake towards ducks before coming back. It was funny because he hates water!

Why is Cosby Being Rehomed?

Couple recently welcomed a new baby to the home and Cosby does not get the attention he needs and deserves. Cosby is used to being the center of attention, and would prefer that his environment offer that to him.
He also likes to get lots of activity and his owners are unable to provide that for him – and get sleep.

Cosby’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

Very loving home where Cosby will get tons of love and attention.
Cosby would be best as an only dog and in a home with children older than 12 – or no children.

He would be a great dog for a senior couple or a single – someone who spends lots of time at home and is looking for a very devoted dog. He would make a fantastic emotional support companion.

He does need someone who is active enough to take him for his daily walk. He also loves fetching and frisbee – so a back yard where he could play would be great.

He likes going to the dog park. He is not as social as some other dogs, but does enjoy the sounds, smells and activities.
