Personality

Edmond is extremely loving and loyal. He is intelligent and learns new tricks easily. When it is just him and I Edmond is a perfect dog. He get along well with his mother, and loves people.

Edmond is easily excited and loves nothing more than the sound of his own voice. He is kennel and potty trained and does well by him self. When we tested him using the monks of new skeet aptitude test he tested as a very independent dog, as a small puppy he could be found playing by him self rather than with the rest of the litter.

Edmond is a superb ratting dog and has made a couple of kills around the house, he loves to go on bike rides and is strong enough to pull me on my bicycle with the aid of his mother. He is also trained to pull my wife on her longboard with his harness.

Edmond matches all of the criteria of terrier and is defiantly a hand full who sill requires lots of supervision, exercise, and a firm owner who will command each situation. As long as he gets his exercise and is not left alone he isn’t destructive, but he does do the occasional tissue grab from the trash can, I’m sure he will grow out of this.

Food and Diet

Edmond Dantes (aka Fish) is currently on Other

Edmond eats two times a day and normally we feed him Zigniture salmon formula, but Edmond will eat anything you put in front of him, he is not picky.

Reason For Rehoming

Edmond was the last in a litter of 7 pups. We did not intend to keep him but we could not find a close friend or family member to take him off of our hands, so we kept him. Shortly after Edmond turned 1 year old he began to make his bid for dominance with our other male dog.

This erupted into fights with our 5 year old Yorkie Jack mix. We tried reconditioning as well as prozac and nothing seems to be working. Our other male dog is a rescue and the first dog of the household; he has his own issues and refuses to differ to the puppy. On top of that Edmonds mother who is a pure Jack russell and lives with us now anticipates the situation thereby exacerbating each growl into a fight.
