Adoption fees waived for a very good home. Supplies and vet records will be included.

Nila is the Grand Dame of her home. This 13 year old Maine Coon cat is gloriously beautiful, and she knows it! Although she is not fond of children, Nila is a very special cat with a lot of love to offer. She is not a lap cat; Nila prefers to be admired rather than snuggled. But she is still a lovely cat and enjoys time with her humans very much.

Nila is very healthy at 13 years old. She is spayed, up to date on shots and litter trained. Nila is OK with other cats, but if she had a preference, it would be for a home with plenty of nice, sunny spots for cat naps where there were no other cats or children to interrupt her relaxation.

She is playful at times, and still active and agile.

Nila is cherished by her owners, but they are faced with a very difficult situation. Their adoptive son is severely allergic to cats, and living in the same home with a cat is not possible, lest he face serious health issues.

They are dearly hoping to find Luna a very loving home with cat lovers who will cherish her for the years she has left. Despite her age of 13, she has a lot of love left to give.

If you have room in your heart and home for this sweet and very beautiful older cat, please reach out. We would love to introduce you to Luna and her family. She can’t wait to purr her way into your heart!

She tends to run before confrontation.

Reason For Rehoming

We are in the final stages of adoption with a 4 year old boy. We are going to purchase and move into a house soon. We had 5 cats at one point and a feral cat community which we have paid to spay/neuter of about 16 cats outside. A few of the 5 had some behavior issues and we re-homed one already. Our boy is allergic and we just can’t give our cats the attention we used to.
we want them to have someone who can spend time with them and love on them. Our lives have overwhelmed us and we do not plan on taking cats into our new home.
