Meet Ivy, Chihuahua / Jack Russell Terrier Dog For Adoption in Yuma ArizonaMeet ivy, chihuahua jack russell terrier dog for adoption in yuma arizona

Ivy is a Female Chihuahua Jack Russell Terrier mix (Jack-Chi) dog for adoption to a very loving home in or near Yuma Arizona

Her personality is huge for such a little dog, and she’ll soon win over any dog lover.  She’s smart, funny and very adorable. When you sing to her she will come running up and try to lick you all over. Also, if you hold a treat up and tell her to dance, she will get on her back legs and twirl around.

Ivy is only  3.5 years years old and weighs 15 lbs pounds. She is in very good health, spayed, and up to date on shots.

Ivy is being placed for adoption by owner because:
“I am military and we are moving, the house on base we will be living in only allows two pets. Also, she has started to become jealous of the baby. Any time we talk to him or sing to him she runs up and try to nudge her way in. This could also be why she has started getting irritated with the other dogs because they are bigger and I think she feels left out”.
Ivy really would be happier in a home where she can be the center of attention.  Chihuahuas are great companion dogs, and Ivy’s Chihuahua side really wants to be somebody’s best friend. Can you offer this beautiful little pup a great new home.

Ivy’s Personality

Loving, smart, pretty, well behaved usually and she doesn’t bark much unless she hears a noise she doesn’t know.

Ivy’s Current Home Environment

Simple family home with two other dogs and now a new baby.

Ivy’s Current Family:

My wife and I have two other dogs that are much larger than her and we used to have a cat that Ivy liked to play with but he now lives with my mother-in-law. We now have a 10 week old growing baby boy as well.

Ivy’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

She likes ropes and small balls that she can chew on. We feed her dog chow soft and chewy because that’s what all our dogs eat and she likes it as well. Most of the time she likes to lay next to you when inside or in the sun when she is outside.

Cute Ivy Story:

When you sing to her she will come running up and try to lick you all over. Also, if you hold a treat up and tell her to dance, she will get on her back legs and twirl around.

Why is Ivy Being Rehomed?

I am military and we are moving, the house on base we will be living in only allows two pets. Also, as stated before, she has started to become jealous of the baby. Any time we talk to him or sing to him she runs up and try to nudge her way in. This could also be why she has started getting irritated with the other dogs because they are bigger and I think she feels left out

Ivy’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

A loving home with one to two people who would be able to give her the one on one type of attention that she needs. She would be a great companion dog and it would make us happy to see her be able to be that for someone.
