Jack Miniature Schnauzer For Adoption Colorado

JACK HAS BEEN ADOPTED

Attention Miniature Schnauzer lovers! Jack is the dog you have been waiting for. This adorable young male is as sweet as they come. He is a Salt and Pepper purebred Mini Schnauzer. He is just 18 months old and weighs 22 pounds. Jack has been neutered, is up to date on shots, micro-chipped and very healthy.

Jack is crate trained and house trained. He is good with other dogs and cats, and gets along very well with children.

Jack’s foster owners love him a lot. They took him from a friend who could no longer care for him due to landlord restrictions. As much as they love Jack, they realize that they are not the right home for him. He needs a family who will give him lots of time and attention. He needs to be in a home with people who have the time to play with him and give him all their love.

Jack is looking for the best home ever! Whether in a home with a retired couple or a family with children, Jack will shine. He would like a securely fenced yard to play in, and people to devote himself to. He has a fair bit of energy and is quite playful with his toys.

Please offer Jack the loving home he needs and very much deserves today. He can’t wait to meet you and melt your heart with his big brown eyes.

Jack’s Personality

He will make whiny noises but rarely will he ever bark. He is very gentile, does not bite at people or other dogs. He knows a few commands like sit, lay down and roll over. He will stay for a short period of time but he is easily distracted. He has his favorite toys he plays with.

Jack’s Current Home Environment

We live in the suburbs with a large non-fenced yard. Jack needs a fence or he will wander away.

Jack’s Current Family:

My husband, teen-aged son and I live in a large home with an elderly cat (17 years old), an 8 week old puppy and Jack. We are at work for a majority of the day during the weeks but we love to go out hiking or walk to the lake on the weekends.

Jack’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

he loves to chew on things, he has some Kong toys and some teddy toys that he has taken all of the stuffing out of. he has a couple of dragon teddies that he loves to run around with and have adventures around the house. He likes to chew on busy bones and he likes going for walks.

Cute Jack Story:

He will not sit on the hardwood floor in our home, if you give him the command to Sit he will first find a carpeted area or rug to sit on. We call him princess butt.

Why is Jack Being Rehomed?

I brought Jack into our home because a friend of mine couldn’t keep him due to apartment fee’s. He was a little over 7 months old when he came to live with us and I have not been able to bond with him. My husband and I like to go out hiking and running on the weekends and evenings and Jack isn’t the kind of dog that is particularly fond of those kinds of activities. I feel bad for him because he spends most of his days inside his play pen or in a kennel.

Jack’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

I want him to have a home with people who will be with him a majority of the time. A family with young children whom he can run around with and play would be nice. My son doesn’t like dogs so he never interacts with Jack. He needs a home with a fence so he can run around outside and not wander off.
