Tabby Tuxedo Cat Rehoming San Jose California Pet Rehoming

Louise has been REHOMED!

We are thrilled that we were able to find Louise her purrfect forever home in the San Jose area in just under 3 weeks.

From Louise’s Owner:

Hi Debbie,

Great news- both adoptions went very smoothly with both cats today!! I have no concerns whatsoever with the new owners and I think both cats will thrive in their new environments. It’s a huge weight off my mind, thank you so much for all your help. I’m glad they both have great homes and didn’t even have to have a foster home. Thank you for providing an invaluable service!! I am forever grateful.

Here’s how we presented Louise to prospective adopters and ultimately found her new home:

Hi, My name is Louise!

I am a real clown – just add paper! My name is Louise, and there is nothing I love more than the crunchy crackle of a nice paper bag, or any kind of paper, really. Christmas has always been a riot at my house!

I am a short haired grey and white tuxedo tabby female cat aged 3. I take my time getting to know people, but once I am familiar with you I am the ultimate lap warmer! I am really friendly and affectionate.

I am a very pretty girl with big green eyes, delightful white paws, tummy and face and an endearing pink nose. I am bonded to my sister cat, Louise. Although we can be adopted separately, we would be so happy if we could find a loving home together.

I am very healthy, spayed and up to date on my shots. I am a very clean girl – I always use my litter box and my cat tree for scratching.

Me and Thelma will bring all of our supplies along with us! All you need to provide is lots of love and a safe, healthy home for us.

Tabby tuxedo cat for adoption in san jose californiaOur perfect home would be with a single, couple or family with older children. We are used to having a quiet home and like to spend a good bit of our time lounging and bird watching from sunny windows. We would probably not be a good choice for a home with small children. We do get along fine with other cats and probably dogs – if they are the cat-friendly type.

Our owner is very sad to have to find us a new home, but her circumstances have changed and she is having to make a move across the country, to a job with lots of travel involved. She wants us to be happy, and feels that we would be better off in a loving home with people who can cherish and spend lots of time with us.

Please offer us a home today, whether you adopt us separately – or as a matched set. We are both wonderful “ladies” and will add immeasurable love, joy, laughter and companionship to your home.

Love and Purrs,

Louise and Thelma

 Louise’s Personality

Louise can be a little skittish, fickle, and stand-offish at first, but once she is comfortable she loves attention!! She loves laying in the sun, and on/in packing paper, weirdly enough! (see picture). She loves to lay on your lap and steal your warmth, and if she wants attention, she’ll let you know! She likes looking out the window and watching birds or just sleeping nearby you in the room. She loves to play with string and run around the house to play.

Louise’s Current Home Environment

Quiet apartment with lots of windows and light! Louise loves the sun. Lots of birds to watch and places to sit

Louise’s Current Family:

Me and my roommate (who is rarely home) and Louise’s sister Thelma.

Louise’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

Louise isn’t big into treats but she loves laying in the sun, having her belly scratched (seriously!) or running around the house chasing things! She also loves to just sit and watch out the window.

Cute Louise Story:

Louise likes to drink water by sticking her paw in the bowl and then licking her paw!! She will also lay in the sun and let you rub her belly for hours! (okay, maybe like 15 minutes, but still!)

Why is Louise Being Rehomed?

I am moving cross country and don’t want to put my cats through the trip, plus my new job will involve long hours and some last minute travel .

Louise’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

Thelma (and her sister Louise) are used to a calm environment without kids or other pets. They would probably get along with other pets after awhile, and older kids as well, but would probably do best in a small family where they can mostly do their own thing. They both are very loving and cuddly and sweet… on their own terms of course!
