Indie’s Personality
She is the most loyal and affectionate dog to her owners. She tends to take a moment to warm up to strangers initially, but then soon welcomes them into her circle. The people she loves, she loves them fully. She is playful and great off leash. She is pretty good on leash too. Indie received 2 months of full time obedient training (after the biting incident) and can heel, go to place (her bed), come on command. She is a sucker for belly rubs. She gets one walk a day and as much as her breed is typically known for being energetic, she is quite chill and loves to relax and watch tv. She gets very excited when people come in the door but then chills out soon after.
Why is Indie Being Rehomed?
As explained a bit above. We have a 7 month old baby and initially Indie was amazing with him. She gives him kisses and has always been conscientious of not stepping on him. However, since he has begun to crawl about in early October, Indie has become nervous around him. We feel it is best to find her a home where she can be the baby. She has so much love to offer and many years of life left to live.
