ADOPTED Ranger – 3 YO Bassett Hound / Beagle Mix Little Rock Arkansas
Little Rock, Arkansas – Ranger is the quintessential “country dog”! This squirrel-chasin’ hound dog is a 47 pound bundle of love, looking for a home without other pets. Ranger is an adorable mix of Bassett Hound and Beagle. He is only 3 years old and is healthy, neutered and up to date on his shots. He has also been house trained and has great indoor manners.
Ranger is being rehomed by his owners, who love him a lot. Unfortunately, Ranger does not play well with other pets, and they also have a disabled (3 legged) dog in their home. There have been quarrels between the two dogs, which is not good for either of them. Now that the owners are expecting their first baby, they feel it is essential to find Ranger the home he needs and very much deserves. He wants to be in a home where he will be a first-hand family member, living indoors with his family. He is good with children – just not with other pets.
Please offer Ranger the home he needs and deserves today!

Ranger is very affectionate. He loves to play, especially with his rope, and he loves to chase squirrels. He loves to sleep beside you on the couch or bed and snuggle.
Reason For Rehoming
We adopted a 3 legged dog not knowing Ranger doesn’t play well with other dogs. We tried to make it work but my wife is now pregnant and we cannot have two dogs fighting with a newborn on the way.
