There is a $75 adoption/rehoming fee. All supplies will be included.

If you are looking for a big dog in a smaller package, I am the one! I am a very handsome mix of German Shepherd and Australian Cattle Dog, with a gorgeous black and tan coat, and big, perky German Shepherd ears. I live in El Cahon, CA, not far from San Diego.

I am just 5 years old and weigh only 30 pounds. I am very healthy, neutered, up to date on my shots, crate trained and house broken. I am such a good boy! I currently live with my owners in El Cajon, CA.

I am shy when I first meet people. Once I get to know you, I am the most loving dog you will ever meet. I put the “D” in devotion. I love to snuggle, but I am also a huge fan of getting out in wide open spaces and running. I just love the feel of the wind in my ears and the sun on my back.

I am good with children, and I get along very well with other dogs – and even cats.  Such a gentleman!

My owner loves me so much. She has had me since I was a puppy, and wants the very best for me. With a new husband and baby, she is not able to give me the life I need and deserve. I spend too much of my time doing nothing, and she really wants a loving home for me with owners who are active and can give me the exercise and activity I crave.

She would love to keep in touch with me, so hopefully that is OK with you.

My ideal home will be with a family, couple or single who own their home and have a securely fenced back yard. Having lots of time to spend with me, and an active lifestyle will seal the deal.

Please offer me a loving, forever home today. I can’t wait to show you what unconditional love is all about.

Love and Licks,

Rosco

Rosco’s Current Home Environment

Apartment complex that is loud outside. Lots of children running around playing in front playground. Our personal space in our apt is calm and quiet. We have a 10 month old That just started crawling and is curious of everything including rosco.

Rosco’s Current Family:

I had rosco before I met my husband he was a gift from an ex. I fell in love with rosco even with his skiddish ways. Rosco took to my husband quickly and they have an amazing bond. We have been living in San Diego now for a little over a year and just had our first baby, a boy named Ronin! He is our whole world. We believe everyone deserves nothing but good things. We also believe that rosco deserves more than he is receiving from us at this time.

Rosco’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

Rosco loves treats. His favorite treat is ice cubes! Toys he’s not too into he does enjoy a good raw hide every so often. He loves running in open fields. It’s his happy place.

Cute Rosco Story:

The first night I had rosco he was only 8 or 10 weeks old. Very tiny. I woke up around 2am turned on the light in my bedroom and saw him standing half in the bathroom entrance half in the bedroom I say to him, “what are you doing?” He looks up at him kind of tilts his head and starts peeing! He peed a puddle bigger than him then yawns so big I get drowsy prances back into his bed and goes right back to sleep! Haha.

Why is Rosco Being Rehomed?

We know rosco deserves more than we are able to give him at this time. Since having our son most if not all of our attention goes to him now. Rosco gets a walk every nigh but he needs to go run around at the park more than he gets. Living in an apartment complex isn’t right for him, he should be in a home with a yard.

Rosco’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

We are looking for someone/a family who will love rosco as much as we do. Who will understand his needs, that is he sensitive to the world and others. Also that he enjoys playing he loves to get out and be free.

Additional Comments:

Rosco is his own kind of dog, he is special and crazy in a good way! He’s reserved but once he gets to know you he is a lover and if you give him a good old run down you have his heart forever!
