Sweet Sadie – Adorable Jack Russell Terrier Seeks Only Pet Home in Canyon Country CA

Hi, My name is Sadie!

Jack russell terrier for adoption santa clarita

I am an adorable little 20 pound bundle of love. A Jack Russell Terrier, I am just 10 years young, very healthy, and have a lot of years of love and companionship left to offer the right family. I live in Canyon Country, CA,, near Santa Clarita. I have a smooth white coat with cool black spots.

I have been spayed already. I am a very good girl, crate trained, house broken and very devoted. There is only one thing… I just don’t get along with other pets. I LOVE people and want all the attention to myself.

I am looking for a new home where I will be the only pet, and where my owners have more time to spend with me than my current owner. She loves me, but she is gone from early morning to late evening working. I spend all my time alone in my crate, and that just isn’t the life I had hoped for.

I would much prefer to be someone’s best friend, spending lots of time together, going for walks, snuggling on the couch, playing fetch and relishing each other’s company.

My perfect new home will be with a couple, single or family with older children (past the stage where they poke eyes, pull tails, crush, squish or otherwise torture dogs like me!). I would love to have a securely fenced yard to play in. If you are home for part – or most of the day, that would be divine.

Please offer me the home I need and very much deserve. I am a great little dog and can’t wait to wow you with wiggles and melt your heart with my big brown eyes.

If you would like to offer me a home, please fill out the information form below. Once received, my owner will contact you to arrange a good time to meet us.

Sadie’s Current Home Environment

Sadie lives in a house with me and my 2 children

Sadie’s Current Family:

Sadie lives with me and my 2 children who are 15 and 13 years old. We have another little dog who we have to keep separated from Sadie because Sadie is aggressive towards her. We adopted Sadie when she was 3 years old.

Sadie’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

Plush chew toys she can tear apart.
She loves plain rawhide bones.
She loves running around the backyard barking at squirrels and laying in the sun.
She loves being around us and getting petted and loved on.

Cute Sadie Story:

When we first saw Sadie at a pet adoption fair she was sitting in a cage with a small towel draped over her head with her spotted ears sticking out. She looked adorable. We knew she was the one. She was so happy to go home with us. She really is a sweetheart.

Why is Sadie Being Rehomed?

Sadie does not get along with another dog in the home. Sadie is left alone in her crate all day while owner works, and this is not a good situation for her. She needs a home where she can receive the love and attention she deserves.

Sadie’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

Sadie needs a strong owner (Preferably male) who can take the time to give her some training and the attention and love she deserves. She needs to be in a home that has no other animals or plans on getting any.  And an owner who is home more because I commute and have to leave early in the morning and don’t get back until late afternoon so she is in her kennel the whole time. I’ve never felt good about that situation either.

Additional Comments:

We absolutely love Sadie and this has been a very difficult decision to make. Please find her the very best home possible. Thank you in advance for your help.
