Very pretty, just 3 years old and in good health, Stella is a grey tabby cat with big green eyes and a very affectionate personality. Stella has been spayed and fully vaccinated. She has been litter trained and is micro-chipped as well.
As beautiful as she is, Stella’s very loving nature stands out even more. She is one of those very special cats that thrive on human attention and affection. She loves to be near you, whether on your lap, beside you on the couch, in bed or anywhere you happen to be in the house. She loves to talk, and will carry on a conversation in her cute meow language with you. It is rare to find a cat with such a sweet personality.
Stella’s owners love her very much and are sad to have to find her a new home. Unfortunately, Stella has become increasingly anxious when the family is away. This results in some behavior issues that make it necessary to find Stella a special home where she will have lots of companionship and unconditional love.
One of the behaviors the family has been dealing with (only when they are away on holidays or business trips) is occasional litter box issues. Normally when she has her people with her, Stella is a very clean and well behaved cat. It is only when the family goes away that this is a problem.
Because of their love of travel and other activities that take them away from home frequently, the family has decided that Stella will be much happier in a home where her owners can spend more time with her. A retired or senior cat lover would be ideal, but any home where Stella can be an only cat and receive lots of attention and affection would do fine. She is such a sweet and affectionate cat that just being with people will make her very happy.

We live in east Vancouver in an upper floor of a house. The home has a front and back balcony that the cats can go out on.
Stella’s Current Family:
We are a family of four, with twin girls aged 12. The girls were 9 when Stella and her sister were adopted by the SPCA and have cared for the cats a lot. Both parents work from home – dad has an office downstairs and mom is in and out of our house throughout the day. We do go to our cabin often in the summer so our cats are left to pet carers most weekends in the summer. While we are home, the cats love to curl up with our
Stella’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?
Plastic spiders, laser beams, wrestling with her sister kitty and she loves her wet food that she gets twice a day. She loves to run up a carpeted beam that we built for her when she was a kitten and gives her a high up view of the house and street.
Why is Stella Being Rehomed?
We are concerned about Stellas anxiety and want her to have a happy life with lots of attention and love. Since we travel frequently, and are not home as often as we used to be, we cannot give her the life that she needs and deserves. When she is feeling anxious, she does not get along well with her sister cat, and has some accidents outside the litter box (this does not happen when we are home with her). We are hoping to find her a home with someone that will cherish her and have lots of time to spend with her. With the right owner who can be more attentive she will be a very loving pet.
Stella’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
We would love for Stella to go to home that will give her some roaming room indoors and perhaps safely outdoors. She perhaps needs to be the only cat in the house and can play with children and with caring adults.
