Just 2 years old and weighing 8lbs, Turnpike is handsome tabby with a flowing long coat in delicate shades of apricot and cream. He has beautiful Topaz eyes to matching his coat. He is one of mother nature’s show cats – striking to look at and a demure and gentle temperament.
Turnpike is what we call a “ready to love” cat. He has had all his vet care done up to date; he’s been neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and litter-box trained. He is a clean and well behaved cat that loves to play. He can be shy at first when meeting you, but soon comes out of his shell to reveal his friendly, somewhat timid nature. It’s very endearing, and in a quiet home where he can be a cherished only cat, he is sure to blossom into a really lovely companion.
This amazing long haired Orange Tabby cat’s owner is very sad to have to rehome Turnpike, but he is being targeted for abuse by her older cat. Turnpike is constantly under siege, and it is hard for him to feel at home, safe or secure, never knowing when or where he will be challenged. For his sake, Turnpike’s owner is hoping to find his forever home with a cat lover who will give him the safe, happy, healthy and love-filled life he needs and deserves. She is hoping to find his new home within a reasonable distance of Atlanta.
