It was love at first sight for Elizabeth, the proud new owner of Thor. It took a while for us to locate the right situation for this adorable little guy, but it was well worth the wait and effort in making sure it was the best home ever!

Hi, My name is Thor!
I may be small, but I am mightily cute! I am an adorable mix of Boston Terrier and Chihuahua…. a Boshuahua! Sounds exotic, doesn’t it? Well I am kind of exotic. I an as cute as a bug’s ear, super smart, very loyal, playful and fun. I am super outgoing and get along very well with everybody. I love other dogs and am good with children, too.
I am only 2 years old. I am in excellent health, and have been neutered. My owner will provide my health records to my new family.
My owner loves me so very much, but she made the very unselfish decision to quit her job and move in with her sister, so that she could provide full time care to her nephew, who has serious medical issues. This leaves her with very little time to give me the exercise I need to be happy and healthy. I am a bouncy, fun loving dog. I love to romp and play, and really need an owner who can make my needs their priority.
My owner is hoping to find me the best home ever (after all, I am the best dog ever!). I would love some great kids to play with, but a couple or single would be fine too. You just have to have the time and energy to take me to the dog park and play with me. I am also a snuggle bunny, little clown, great listener and furry best friend.
If it’s not too much to ask, I would love to stay in touch with my owner, and even have visits with her once in a while. After all, we love each other very much. Of course, I would be your dog – signed, sealed and delivered. She would just like to remain a small part of my life. She’d pet sit for you too!

Reason For Rehoming
I recently quit my job and moved to Austin to become the full time caregiver of my 7 month old nephew who has complex medical needs. I moved in with my sister who is a single mom to a small 3rd floor apartment. Thor is a young, friendly, energetic dog who needs to go to a home with a yard and family or individual who can give him the attention he needs as I am now caring for my nephew and his needs are complicated. I realize that these unforeseen life changes call for this decision as I want Thor to have the best living situation possible. It is a very hard decision to make though.
