If you have been searching for a dynamic duo of cuteness in the form of two very sweet senior lap dogs, here they are! Amber is an absolutely adorable 12 pound Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mix, and Pepper is a purebred Yorkshire Terrier. Both dogs are 11 years young, very healthy, up to date on shots, micro-chipped and house trained.
Living with their owners in Fremont, CA, Pepper and Amber are such good dogs. They are quiet, have great temperaments, and make wonderful companions. They have been with their owners since they were puppies.
As much as it breaks their hearts, the owners realize that having small children has taken too much time away from the dogs. They feel that the dogs are not receiving the care and attention they need and very much deserve. They are hoping to find a wonderful new home for this bonded pair – with seniors who own their own home and have lots of time to snuggle with them. The dogs will be rehomed with all supplies, and also vet records showing that they are in excellent health.

The dogs are able to roam the main areas of the house and they have crates they can lay in if they choose too, but they generally like to lay on the leather couch.

We have two young children, ages 3.5 yrs and 21 months.

Favorite activity is watching TV with us and being pet.
Why is Amber Being Rehomed?
Since our two children were born we have not been able to give our dogs the attention they deserve. They need a family that has time to spend with them.

Loving family that has time to spend at home with them. They will really benefit by having someone stay at home with them during the day and being taken for walks.
Additional Comments:
Our dogs, Amber and Pepper, have been with us since they were 6 weeks old. We first got Amber (King Charles Mix), and later found she needed a playmate, and so we got Pepper (Yorkshire Terrier). They play together and helped keep our home alive and active for many years. We are originally from the East Coast (Maryland), and when we decided to move to California, they made the road trip journey with us. Now that we have two young kids, we are not able to give the dogs the attention they deserve. We feel bad rehoming them since they were with us for a long time and before the kids, but we love them enough to let them go to a family that has time to spend with them.
