Zeus is an absolutely stunning 2 year old purebred male German Shepherd. He is looking for a loving home in and around Houston, Texas. Zeus is very healthy, neutered, up to date on shots and house trained. He has a very loyal, loving personality. Very good with children. Zeus is an Alpha male, so he is best suited as an only dog.

Zeus owners are very sad to have to look for a new home for him, but unfortunately they have been unable to obtain rental housing that will allow German Shepherds. Being an big dog and living in a cramped apartment is not an ideal situation. They are hoping to find him a loving family that will cherish Zeus as much as they do.

His perfect home will be one with a securely fenced back yard to play in, some great kids to hang out with, and people who will give him the time, attention affection and exercise he needs and deserve. German Shepherds are incredibly smart dogs that love to have a job to do, and Zeus is no exception. He loves to play and go swimming and for walks.

Zeus is an ALPHA male. He is not good with other dogs, and needs to be placed in an “only dog” setting.

Zeus is  a very special dog and deserves a special home. Please fill out an adoption application form to offer him a home, or call Debbie toll free at (888) 720-3322 if you have any questions.

Zeus’s Personality

Zeus is probably the most loyal pet i’ve ever known. You can go to the dog park with him and he will stick by your side instead of playing with the other dogs.
He prefers to play fetch with just you and follow you where ever you go.
He can be silly at times and act like a goof ball as well.

Zeus’s Current Home Environment

small, clean and loving

Zeus’s Current Family:

three individuals at home. two adults and one child. very loving and respectful towards one another.

Zeus’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

any type of toy will make Zeus happy. But especially a tennis ball. Can be picky about treats. They have to be broken down into smaller pieces. Same with his food. Have to be the medium bites.
Loves swimming, agility courses, and playing fetch.

Cute Zeus Story:

We had taken him to the dog park one day. It had rained a few days before. So there were still some puddles of water. As soon as we walked into the park. He automatically ran to the puddles and decided to lay down.
He would then play with the other dogs and once he was tired he would come back to the puddles of water to cool off.

Why is Zeus Being Rehomed?

Currently living in an apartment. Not a lot of space for him to roam around and exercise.

Zeus’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

Loving and caring. Patience. Respectful towards one another. Time to play and spend time with him. Keep him focused. Give him a “job”
Teach him new tricks and games.

Additional Comments:

Pet can be a bit dominant towards other pets at first. But once he gets to meet them. He does fine.
Preferably better around puppies that are growing up.
