Meet Rebel, A Special Black Tabby Cat For Adoption in Austin Texas
Don’t let his name fool you – Rebel is not at all rebellious, in fact, he is about the most agreeable cat you will find. This lovely boy has such a unique coat with very dark black tabby markings. His jade green eyes are set like jewels in his dark little face. He is healthy and well behaved, and once he gets to know you, you won’t find a more snuggly little fur baby.
Rebel loves to play. He has lots of toys, and really loves chasing little balls around, or carrying his pretend mice around with him. He will entertain you for hours if you let him, and when he is finished playing, he loves to cuddle with you.
Rebel and his best friend, Fang, are being rehomed by their family. Their owners love them to pieces, but are moving overseas, and don’t want to put them through the stress of a very long flight and quarantine. They are dearly hoping to find the cats a very loving home with cat lovers who will cherish them and keep them safe, happy and healthy.
The boys can be adopted as a bonded pair – or separately. They will be rehomed with all supplies and accessories as well as vet records. All you need to offer is lots of love, a little patience while they adjust to their new environment, and a safe, happy and healthy forever home.

Why is Rebel Being Rehomed?
We are about to move internationally (back to our hometown country) , and won’t be able to carry all our cats on the airplane. We think staying here with a warm family is a better choice for him, compared to stucking in a cat carrier for 13 hours or even longer in a flight.

We are looking for people with good temperament and very patient with shy cats. Rebel can be very shy and cautious for a long time when he’s in a new place.
Additional Comments:
We are rehoming another cat, Fang, and he’s always been a good friend with Rebel. They play a lot but not fight. They can be rehomed together or seperately. We feel very sorry and bad for leaving them, and hope they can both find some forever families soon.
