You are in luck! This Diamond could be yours! She is a truly special dog and would not normally be available to a new home because she offers so much to any family. Diamond is a mixed breed Rhodesian Ridgeback / German Shepherd. She is young, healthy and friendly. She is good with kids, cats and other dogs with a great personality. If you like to jog or go on long walks, Diamond can keep up. Her ridge makes for an interesting conversation starter and her face could melt any heart. She’s a great companion, and as she matures, she’s lose a little of the puppy excitement and be an excellent family or farm dog. Right now she’s a lot of fun to be around and you’ll find yourself smiling and laughing everyday as Diamond shines in your home!

Unfortunately her current owner is facing a need to move for financial reasons and can’t afford to keep “Diamond” or her White German Shepherd brother named “Puppy”. The two dogs are great together as a team and the owner is hoping that they can both find a good home together if possible, but they understand that the top priority is to quickly find a great home for both dogs, even if they can’t stay together.
The perfect home will have a fenced yard and somebody who is able to spend a lot of time with Diamond. She’s just 35 lbs and a medium sized dog, despite the close up photos we have here. You can tell that she was excited to have her photos taken – that’s her personalty shining through! She’s only a year and a half old, so she still loves to play and get regular exercise. She’s crate trained, but it would be a shame if she has to spend long days locked up. You’ll be a great adopter if you work from home, are retired, or almost always have somebody at home who’d love a cheerful dog around the house!
