Holly loves to be held. We used to carry her around with her head up on our shoulder like a baby. She likes to be cradled like a baby also. She loves the front window and watches outside from the radiator and lays on it for the warmth. She’s kind of beyond playing and will only be interested for a minute or so.

She never got the hang of scratching posts although we have tried! I keep an afghhan on the ends of the couch and one on the chair and she scratches but with minimal damage. Keeping her claws cut helps. She has a routine of wet food when I wake up and at night before bed. Just a teaspoon. I have dry food for her all the time.

She has a habit of pawing at her water and would always be wet and tumbled it. I got a tray to keep her bowl in and she likes to sit in the tray. I recently got a turned upside down bottle that refills her bowl as she drinks and that’s too heavy for her to paw which helps. She LOVES to get in the fridge (just her head). I almost think she likes it when I slide her away.

She likes to get brushed.

She lays on my chest while a lie down. She puts her head up under my chin.

Her litter is in the basement and I leave the door open slightly for her to paw it open to go down. She used to be an indoor cat then let her out when we are out and she visits neighbors but no further. (One time she went missing for a couple of days and since then has not gone far). She loves to watch the.

It’s but she was old when she started going out that she doesn’t climb trees or hunt the birds. She likes to go out and lick on a blade of grass or hide under a bush. She knows her name and comes when called just like a dog. She greets us at the door and watches when we leave through the window. She sleeps in a rocker in my room and sleeps more now. She likes to be around for when I clean and sits and watches.

Reason For Rehoming

I got Holly for my 12 year old daughter when I got a divorce. She had to leave 2 pets behind so our first Christmas, I let her pick out a cat at humane society. Holly was 3 months old and purred so lo
