Lucy’s Current Home Environment

My husband and I live in a 1600 square foot house with two dogs. I work from home so I am around with the animals most of the day but when I am they are here hanging out together.

Lucy’s Current Family:

It is just my husband and I, who are in our 20s, and our pets. We are both big animal lovers and are very active.

Lucy’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

Lucy loves to chase a laser. She loves pretty much any toy she can chase or try to grab. She loves to snuggle up next to humans and be pet.

Cute Lucy Story:

Lucy likes to swat at one of our dogs tails. She never scratches it hard but he is always so confused when she does it. He is a big dog and it is cute to see him nervous around a small cat. Sometimes she will go up to him afterward and rub her face against his nose. It’s so sweet when she shows the dogs affection.

Why is Lucy Being Rehomed?

We recently adopted Lucy. I have never had a cat before so I did not know I was allergic until after she was living in our house. It’s very hard to have allergies all the time and my mom is so allergic that she can’t even stay in our house. We didn’t want her going back to a shelter or adoption agency because we felt bad she has had to readjust so much. We would rather find her a home directly.

Lucy’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

We are looking for animal lovers who will show her a lot of attention and affection. She is very good at home alone but she loves to lay next to people on the couch. We are hoping to find a family who understands the responsibility that comes with pets. We have not had any problems with Lucy and she is the perfect cat to us, but we want to make sure whoever takes her is very loving and excited to have her.
