Renato’s Current Home Environment

Calm, but not with a 2 year old son . There’s always someone in the house , he is almost never alone .

Renato’s Current Family:

We are having a daughter this fall and already have a 2 year old. Renato love adults he loves my husband and I. He got use to my son but still it is so difficult to him understand his moves and sounds.

Renato’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

Loves fetch, hide and seek, Hunting and treats.

Cute Renato Story:

I rescued him after my beloved dog died. I wasn’t planning on having another pet but as I stepped outside the gym (I used to lived in Mexico) he came out of nowhere . I think he was only 4-5 months old. He started rubbing my feet and legs and crying. I didn’t know what to do so I pick him up and took him home.

Since that day we have been inseparable we came to live to Arizona and he came with me. But as our family is growing I have done everything to keep him calm around my son but it just gets worse. I have teach my son but still Renato reacts without thinking sometimes it is difficult to prevent his moves .

Why is Renato Being Rehomed?

My son was injured because Renato got really scared after we had our gender reveal and everyone was screaming and jumping. My son was bitten on the leg as Renato was scrambling to run away.

This cat would never intentionally hurt anyone. In the moment, he was so scared and paranoid that he was not thinking but those reaction can happen when you have kids. I can’t be always by their side preventing it. It is best to give Renato to another cat lover who has a calmer environment for him.

Renato’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

I’m looking for adults that live by themselves . That have a calm environment and want feline company. He does so well with adults and loves to naps on your legs. He will always be by their side. He is so loyal. He just doesn’t need kids around that disturb his peace.
