Maine Coon and Bicolor Cow Cat For Adoption in Limestone Tennessee – Supplies Included – Adopt Sophie and Mia

Looking for a Maine Coon cat to adopt in Limestone TN? Sophie and Mia, a Bicolor Cow Cat, are looking for a loving home, together, in or near Limestone TN. Both cats are in good health, spayed and litter trained. They are closely bonded, and it would be detrimental to their well-being to rehome then separately.

Sophie is a Maine Coon mix. She is 11 years old. Mia is a black and white Cow cat. Both cats have amazing personalities. They are very affectionate and cuddly. They play with each other, which is very fun to watch. They are very accepting of people who visit, and have sweet personalities which make them extra-special.

Sophie and Mia are being rehomed by their owners. They are both being stressed by the long absences of their owners, who travel for their jobs, as much as 8 weeks at a time. When they are home, they are terrified of the family dog. This is not a good situation for the cats, and they are being stressed as a result. Their owners are dearly hoping to find them a home where they will be cherished and kept safe, happy and healthy. They are such affectionate cats that they will provide their new owners with immeasurable love, joy, laughter and companionship.

If you have room in your heart and home for a very special Maine Coon mix cat and her best friend, an adorable black and white cow cat, please offer Sophie and Mia a loving home today. They can’t wait to purr their way into your heart and home. Adopt Sophia and Mia today.

They gave me science diet and it made both cats very sick, they wouldn’t even eat it because it made them feel bad. I found a better brand called N&D by Farmina, their adult urinary blend. The cats love it, haven’t been sick since.

All About Sophie & Mia

Sophie & Mia’s Personality

They are both very sweet cats with a little sass in them. Mia will sleep on your chest or side all night if you will let her. Sophie likes to be on your lap or near you when possible. They love being around people and getting attention as much as possible. Sophie tends to be shy around loud people. Mia is pretty adaptable.. I have never seen her around a small kid, but she likes our dog most of the time. Sophie is terrified of small/loud humans and is not good with any other dogs or cat besides Mia.

How sweet and cuddly they are
That they are best friends
I love watching them play together
I love how sweet they are with anyone they meet
I love their sweet meows

Sophie & Mia’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

The cats love scratch pads and anything involving catnip. They also like having balls to play with. They have become pretty lazy and kind of depressed since we have started traveling so much for work. I am hoping with a more structured environment with humans around they will perk back up.

Cute Sophie & Mia Story:

I have had Sophie since she was a kitten. My husband and I got Mia right before we moved in together. Sophie was coming from a 4 cat household and we did not want her to be alone. They hated each other. For about 1.5 years at least. They would fight and scratch each other. When we began traveling more they must have finally started bonding. They are inseparable now. They snuggle, play, sleep together, clean each other, it’s really cute. They have come a long way together.

Why is Sophie & Mia Being Rehomed?

My husband and I both travel for work together. Our longest trip so far has been 4 weeks. Because we live so far out, my mom can only come to check on them once a week. They need more than 4 interactions with humans in a month’s time. We have an 8-week trip coming up at the beginning of March and we won’t return until May. It’s too much for them. They have gained weight and become so lazy because they spend so much time alone. When we are home, Sophie spends most of her time hiding from our dog, she is terrified of him. Mia spends about half of her time being annoyed by him. They need someone with a more structured routine. Obviously, if you take vacations, they are fine. But they need someone who is home more than we are. Someone who works from home or a 9-5 type job. Also, Sophie is getting older. She needs knots brushed and cut out of her long fur.

Sophie & Mia’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

Someone or a family to love them as much as we do. Someone who travels a lot less than we do. Someone who is typically home at some point daily would be perfect for them. They are great cats, and they deserve better than being left alone so much. Especially with Sophie getting older, she needs to be checked on more than once a week like we can offer them when we are traveling.
