Pearl is a sweet 8 year old female black cat in urgent need of a loving home in Los Lunes, near Albuquerque NM. She is fixed, up to date on shots, healthy and litter trained. Supplies vet records included.

Her owner has recently fallen on very hard times, and no longer has a home in which to care for Pearl. She needs to find a loving home for Pearl as soon as possible.

Pearl is very healthy. She is spayed, up to date on shots and well behaved. She is litter box trained and has no behavior issues. She loves to spend her time around people, and is a charming and affectionate companion.

Pearl is good with dogs and enjoys respectful children. She has not spent time around other cats.

Personality

She is gentle, quiet, affectionate. Not especially a lap pet but likes to be close or touching. She cries when lonely or feels abandoned. She will claw her way out of a carpeted room if shut in. She hasn’t been allowed on tables or countertops. She will sit in a dining chair and put her paw on you to let you know she wants to be included. I do not feed her from the table or table scraps. She has her claws which she willingly allows me to trim back without a struggle. She has never shared space with other cats. She has done well around dogs.

I keep a bowl full for her to nibble at will.

Reason For Rehoming

I’m displaced from a permanent home and cannot take her with me.
Divorce has left me homeless and at the mercy of my daughter. Who does not want pets.
