All About Rue

Rue’s Personality

Loving, playful, energetic but not crazy, curious, and sweet

1. She looks and barks at her own reflection
2. She is great with other dogs
3. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body
4. She’s playful
5. She still has her puppy breath

Rue’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

Chewing bone and plush toys. But anything to chew on will work

She likes running and playing with her dog housemates

Cute Rue Story:

Why is Rue Being Rehomed?

There are many reasons. I don’t want to give her away because I already love her but I believe it will be for the best:
1. My work schedule is hectic and is going to get crazier and longer once COVID restrictions ease up and I go back to the office (which will be before she’s out of her puppy stage)
2. My other dog gets along with her but has also snapped at her a few times. This could be because she’s been my only dog for so long and I just introduced the Husky, but my dog is also very possessive and I worry about how they will interact when the Husky ages
3. Money troubles
4. Landlord restrictions
5. I don’t believe I’ll be able to provide adequate time and attention to her between work hours, my other dog, and various responsibilities

Rue’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

I do not know how the puppy is around kids but I believe any family that can devote adequate time and attention to her will work. She might be best as the only dog in the house, but she does get along very well with other dogs. A family with a yard would also be great for her.

Additional Comments:

As I said, I would love nothing more than to keep this dog. I’ve always wanted a Husky and she is perfect. But my long work hours (that will increase in the coming months), various responsibilities, landlord issues, and the fact that I believe I won’t be giving my first dog enough attention now makes me believe that rehoming is the best option.

I’d rather her go to a loving home/family than a shelter or to stay with me and not being able to provide adequate attention.
