Cute Bodhi Story:

I had recently lost my mom and one day I was overwhelmed with grief and was crying in my bedroom. Bodhi heard me and came into the room and jumped on the bed and sat very close to me and laid his head on my lap. I knew it was his way of comforting me.

Why is Bodhi Being Rehomed?

I have a couple of autoimmune diseases that are chronic and limit my physical capacities in different ways. In the past I had the support of my husband however I recently went through a divorce and am on my own. I have been struggling with being able to take care of them and giving them the exercise and socialization that they need. And my condition will continue to breakdown my body more as the months and years go by. I can no longer impose on my family for help.

Bodhi’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

A stable family/home environment where the individual(s) can be present in the home for extended period of time as that is what Bodhi is accustomed to with me. Being disabled I really am at home about 90% of the time. A home that’s calm and happy. Where he will be given a lot of time, attention and love. Bodhi sleeps on a bed in my bedroom and I’d like for him to find a new family that would be willing to let him do that. A relaxed environment where being on the couch and having toys around the house isn’t a problem. Bodhi isn’t messy per se, he just likes to play with his toys.

Additional Comments:

Bodhi has been truly loved and well taken care and I’ll admit he is a bit spoiled but in the best ways. He is a remarkable dog and such a loyal little friend. His new parents must be must be strong, kind and loving leaders who will give him all the love and attention he so deserves.
