Dot’s Personality

Friendly and sociable with people and animals. Especially gentle with children and smaller animals.

Dot’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

She loves to hike in woods to get her sniffer going and run around in nature. I feed her Farmer’s Dog as I care about her health in terms of eating non-processed foods… she loves this particular brand, but it costs a bit. Dot will play with you especially tug of war, but doesn’t fetch much.

Cute Dot Story:

I’m always the only person in the airport (SEA-TAC, OAK, HNL, etc.) who has their dog off-leash and it’s always worth alot of smiles/stares and pointing as she’ll be right by me through the crowded airport. Once we got in line with a beagle in a travel kennel that just wouldn’t behave and the owners were envious of Dot’s good behaviour. She’s not invincible and had stomach travel one time and soiled her cage on a really long layover, the Alaska Air staff loved her and helped me with lots of cleanup materials and getting her resettled.

Why is Dot Being Rehomed?

I travel constantly and there are too many places which don’t allow pets. It’s not fair to Dot (and me) to keep on boarding her with family, friends, Rover, etc..

Dot’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

A family (ok if one person) that has time to exercise and play with her. A home where she can be inside and outside in yard.

I will be very patient in finding a good new person for Dot.
