Pet Rehoming Network Reviews and Testimonials

Because of the very personal and emotionally difficult nature of having to rehome a pet, most of our clients understandably wish to remain anonymous. We do not like to impose on our clients to provide public testimonials, although we do receive some unsolicited recommendations.

If you are considering rehoming a pet, and would like assurance from pet owners who have used our service, please get in touch. We can provide references which you may contact directly.

The following testimonials were provided to us by clients – both those who have rehomed a pet through our service, and those who have adopted a dog or cat through Pet Rehoming Network.

This was a great experience. I was very stressed to have to lose my best little friend. Deborah was very sensitive to my situation and so empathetic. The process was very professional and thorough. I ended up in getting a wonderful home for my little friend. I would highly recommend this company and its services when rehoming your beloved pet becomes an only option.

This was done very well, your staff kept me and the new owner in the loop on everything.

Would you reccommend this service to other pet owners? Absolutely

Pet Rehoming Network did a great job rehoming our cat, Panda.

My son developed severe allergies to cat dander and we found ourselves in the terrible situation of having to find her a new home.

We didn’t want to risk something happening to Panda, so we were happy to find Debbie and her team.

They went to work right away and were very kind and sensitive to our situation. Debbie helped me a lot in finding the right person to adopt Panda.

She was thorough and did not consider Panda’s adoption final until Panda was actually in her new home.

Debbie has already sent an update and some cute photos the new owner took of our sweet Panda.

I would definitely recommend that anyone faced with having to rehome your cat due to allergies go through this amazing rehoming service.

It would be so much harder to go through this process without their help.

You guys are great! Thank you for everything.

Your organization exceeded my expectations!

We had to rehome our precious Havenese named Milo. I did not know where to start. So I started googling and came across the Pet Rehoming Network organization.

Deborah was great and very helpful from the start of the process. To make a long story short Milo was rehomesd less than a week from the time his pictures were posted across social media. I am convinced that Milo went a loving family.

My Pet Rehoming Team were:

Helpful
Empathetic
Efficient
Responsive
Accountable
Resourceful
Knowledgeable
Respectful
Patient
Kind

Would you recommend our service to other pet owners? YES!

I could not have done it without the help from this organization, namely Deborah.

Thank you so much!

The process was very clear and short. I barely had to do anything! Debbie Moore was fast and reliable, she made sure that everyone involved understood everything and my dog was far taken care of. It’s great that a professional service like this exist for me because I’m very busy but also want to be absolutely sure that the adopters are the best for my dog and vice versa.

The lady that runs Pet Rehoming Network has to be the sweetest, most kind person in the rescue business. She spoke to me for more than 2 hours about my situation. She was incredibly empathetic.

I was a mess and couldn’t stop crying. Just talking to her made me feel sooo much better, and when she laid out how they go about finding good homes for pets, I actually felt hope for the first time in months. She explained that I could keep in touch with Lucy, and that they would keep looking for as long as it takes to find a new owner that I was comfortable with, and I did not have to settle on anyone I wasn’t 100% confident in.

This is such an awesome service. I had been in touch with a couple of local rescues and they were all full and not accepting new dogs. They actually recommended that I call Debbie. We just placed Lucy into her new home yesterday. I am sad, of course, but I am also very grateful to have found such a good home for her. Debbie has already called with an update on Lucy’s adjustment.

Peace of mind pet adoptions for sure. I can’t thank you enough, Debbie. You and your amazing team made a terrible situation more than bearable. Feel free to use me as a reference!

Hugs, Celia

I want to thank you for your help in helping me to find Zoey and adopt her. She is the love of my life and she is so intelligent and sweet– just like my “Sam “who had died this spring.

I am now convinced that perhaps it is all in the breed of the American Short tailed bobcat. She is adapting to her new home nicely, plays with toys and even brings a couple of them to me. She even sleeps on the bottom of my bed at night. So thank you for helping us to bring Zoey and me together.

Your service is wonderful and I thank you again for your rehoming service and making sure that pets go to a wonderful home. I am sure that the pets that you help get adopted are the lucky ones.

Hi Debbie,

We met this evening – Charlie met their dog and their brother’s dog and they all got along famously.

It is a wonderful match – Charlie absolutely loved them and we could all tell that she was going to be happy with Chris and his family.

They took Charlie with them tonight – it was tough – but I know in my heart it was the right thing to do for Charlie.

I can’t thank you enough for helping me through this impossible task so quickly – you are a blessing!

Kind regards, Craig

Debbie,

I took Frankie over to Debbie’s this afternoon. It was such a joy to see how happy and excited Debbie and her entire family was to greet Frank and to make him feel at home. This was one of the most difficult things I have ever had to do, and both you and Debbie made it all so much easier.

I know that Frank is in a good home, a home that is perfect for him, a home that will help calm his nerves, and make him feel safe. I have no idea what I would have done if I had not found you. Your services are so needed.

I know that our family will be ready for another dog at some point, and I promise to be in touch. I am happy to write any testimonial you may need. You have made Debbie, my family, but most importantly Frank so happy.

Love,
Lauren

Hello Debbie,

Thank you for all your help in finding a family to adopt Rusty. The family that adopted Rusty will love and care for as a member of the family. Finding the right family is important because he got off a rough start. The screening process and introductions are well worth fee.

Being assured that he will be well cared for is the most important thing. Rusty deserved a good home and family. Thanks to your efforts and patience the right home was found. Also thank you for guiding me through the process.

Rolfe and Alison are wonderful people. I have received text messages and phone calls letting me know how Rusty adjusting. While we miss Rusty I know he is being well cared for and is making good adjustment.

I am more than happy to recommend you to anyone who needs to find a new home for a pet.

Thanks again for your help and efforts.

Veronica

P.S. Last report Rusty has glued himself to Alison and she is treating him like a little prince.

Our family and dogs’ angel!!!

I strongly would recommend Pet Rehoming Network if you are faced with the most difficult decision of having to rehome a furry friend.

Working with them, Debbie Moore directly, made this stressful and heartbreaking process as easy a possible for our family and most importantly our Bloodhound, Laney.

She was judgement free, reassuring, and supportive.  She listened to Laney’s unique traits, our concerns, and what we felt Laney needed in a family without jumping to breed-specific conclusions.

Our process sadly took 2 rehomings until we found the perfect match for Laney.  Through this Debbie never once gave up hope and continued to work hard to find Laney the perfect family.  She respectfully approached the second family when worry arose to find another home – one that couldn’t be more perfect for Laney and kept an open and honest line of communication with me.

Pet Rehoming Network provided my family and I with relief and a furry family member we sadly had to say goodbye to a chance to truly be herself!

Thank you Debbie and your team!!! You truly put the pets interest first!

A very thankful and relieved dog lover,

Alyssa

Debbie was very comforting and informative over the course of Bella’s re-homing process.

They found an excellent candidate for her, performed a screening and background check. I then got to visit his house with the dog, which made me feel better.

This is a very difficult thing to do, and I am constantly thinking about her, but giving my dog to a new owner that I knew would be good to her was helpful. I can also visit whenever I would like.”

To whom it may concern,

I can most definitely recommend this service. I was similarly torn and agonized over my decision for months. I had two cats who I’d had since they were tiny kittens–for 6 and 10 years. My life changed drastically last year requiring me to be away from my home base for about half the time. I’d tried many options with cat sitters and the like and it just wasn’t working out–they were very stressed with me being gone so much and it showed. They were only normal when I was home for extended periods which wasn’t often enough.

I made the difficult decision to rehome them after a lot of considering of options. I offered them to friends to no avail. Finally I decided to try and find them homes. They were not bonded that much to each other as one lived primarily upstairs and the other downstairs so I knew I didn’t have to place them together. Taking them to a shelter was not an option.

I first placed an ad myself on Craigslist but the response I got was sketchy and a stranger wrote me and strongly advised me NOT to place them, at least for free, there. I kind of freaked out and removed the ad.

I then started googling and found Debbie’s service. I didn’t see really any reviews but I just had a gut feeling and frankly I was kind of desperate. I was getting ready to leave inless than a month for a 5 week away from home and once I made the decision to rehome them, it just would be easier for it to happen before I left–on all concerned esp the cats.

I felt right about it, paid her fee for both cats. She contacted me right away and did the phone interview then I let the whole thing go in her hands.

My younger cat, Coco, was placed within a week to a perfect home. I knew she would be easier as she was younger, white with a heart shape on her back and extra digits on her toes. She went to a family with a 17 year old introverted daughter who the mother was hoping to find a companion for. They found the listing via Craigslist (Debbie’s great ad) and came to get her the next day. I gave them the food she was used to eating, her scratching pole, a brush and even her used litter box (I had 2).

Then I was left with the second cat, Sabine. I knew it would be harder with her and had an alternate plan for when I was gone, not ideal but doable. Lo and behold the weekend before I left the perfect situation arose for her. A couple seeking one cat and they fell in love with her pictures. They came to the house (after Debbie’s extensive screening and a phone call with them myself) and picked her up. I was sad of course but I knew I had done the right thing. They were the perfect match for her.

I knew it was the right thing that I was no longer a responsible or adequate pet owner and this was the best thing for the cats. I had no second thoughts and now feel completely relieved.
It was all handled professionally and with no issues at all. I don’t have even the smallest complaint.

I wish you luck and any other questions, feel free to ask!

Hello there Debbie:

Domino was adopted yesterday by a wonderful family!! They don’t live that far from us and they fell in love with her after meeting her.

You guys are awesome for helping us re-home her. My wife and I wanted to see her in a loving home instead of stuck back in the shelter. Thanks for everything you did for us. I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July.

I never in a million years thought I would be in the position to have to make the very difficult decision to rehome my pets.

My caring rehoming specialist (Debbie Moore) was kind, compassionate, supportive and completely non-judgmental of my situation or decision. She was diligent in asking necessary questions about my pets in order to find them the very best situation in their new forever homes. Milo transitioned into his new home last month and he and his new owner are very happy together.

Although there was significant interest in my dogs, Debbie assured me to take my time in order that I was 100% comfortable in my decision to select the right home and owners for my babies; when I disqualified a candidate, she never got frustrated with me and encouraged me to be picky; Rigby’s new family is overcome with love and emotion, have kept me updated with his transition and I’m truly confident that Rigby was somehow meant to bring joy to both our families.

My heart is broken without my babies, but I know they are receiving the love, attention and affection they deserve. Thank you petrehoming and specifically, Debbie Moore. You made a heart-wrenching situation as smooth as possible.

Our family never thought that we would be faced with the tough decision of having to rehome our sweet cat, Duncan. When our family received orders to Alaska, we knew it was a real possibility that it would simply be too much stress for Duncan to handle. We searched for weeks on the internet to find the best solution for our sweet cat and stumbled upon The Pet Rehoming Network and reached out to Debbie.

After a few emails, we made the decision to post Duncan’s profile with Debbie in hopes of finding him the perfect home. Debbie and her team were amazing! The amount of thought and work that went into Duncan’s profile was truly touching. His write up was simply beautiful!

Duncan’s adoptive family is perfect! They are everything that I would hope for, for our sweet baby! After meeting with them, I was overwhelmed with joy and love during this heart wrenching time. After they left from their visit with him, I felt at peace. I’m truly confident that Duncan is in the exact place that he’s supposed to be. I know his new family will care for him and give him the love and attention he deserves!

Debbie and her entire team have been a complete blessing to our family! Debbie took a tough situation in our lives and made it easier! She was kind, compassionate, and never gave up on finding the right home for Duncan. Our family would recommend The Pet Rehoming Network without hesitation to anyone who is faced with the difficult decision of finding a new home for a loved pet.

Thank you so much!

After adopting a cute little pup from a rescue event, we soon found out that Nino did not care for the Pug already in our family Hailey.

We tried for months to get them used to each other with no luck.  Needing to keep them totally separated, we came to the very difficult decision that we would have to find Nino a new home.  There was no way we would just put her into a shelter. We searched for about a week on the Internet and finally found The Pet Rehoming Network and reached out to Debbie.

After a few phone discussions we made the decision to post Nino’s profile with Debbie with the hope of finding a loving home for her.  Debbie and her team were wonderful to work with, and put together an amazing video of our sweet Nino.

Not long after, a family reached out to meet her.  Nino warmed up to them very quickly.  The family agreed to take Nino for a week while we were out of town to see how she would integrate with the new home and family.  Nino obviously loved all of the attention, and has now found her new forever home with a family that is only 10 minutes from us.

Cheri and I want to thank you Debbie for all of the time you put in to find Nino her new home.  We both would recommend you without hesitation to anyone who is a situation to find a new home for a loved pet.

Thank You So Much!
