Caterpillar is 3 years old and weighs 60 pounds. She is an amazing dog looking for a wonderful forever home anywhere within a reasonable distance of NYC. Sweet and very social, Caterpillar will quickly steal your heart. She is very affectionate and loves cuddle time on the couch. She is even an aspiring doggie influencer with a growing following on Instagram!
Caterpillar is good with other dogs, and loves humans with all her heart. She is good with children and adults alike. Caterpillar has only one real issue, and that is that she isn’t fond of cats. She just needs a new home where there are no feline family members.
Caterpillar needs a home where she doesn’t have to be left by herself. She has a touch of separation anxiety, which might be addressed by having a doggie sibling or two to hang out with if she has to be left home for a short period of time.
Caterpillar’s owners are devastated to have to find her a new home, but her dislike of cats has caused disharmony in her home. She needs a more dog-centric home where she won’t encounter any cats.

Cute Caterpillar Story:
Caterpillar ate an entire bag of CDB treats when I left her alone the first time in February. She was able to open the cabinet and get them when I got back home she was asleep on her back with the treats bag next to her. The whole bag helped her anxiety.
Why is Caterpillar Being Rehomed?
Cat aggression and lack of social support and time to work on this. Her trainer has suggested rehoming is best since I cannot be around Caterpillar and my cat all the time.
