KC is a real LOVE Dog. This “cute-as-a-button” male purebred Pekingese dog is a healthy, happy 8 year old. He is fixed, up to date on shots, well behaved, and a real delight. KC is house trained and crate trained, too.
KC has been the cherished family member of a couple who recently began their human family, and are also working very long hours. KC is not getting the attention, exercise, companionship or playtime that he very much deserves. His owners feel very sad that KC is suffering as a result of their increasingly busy schedules, and want much better for him.
They are hoping to find KC a home with dog lovers who will be able to spoil him rotten. He loves human companionship, and would be a great choice for retired dog lovers who have all the time in the world for him.
Because he is 8, the owners do not want to place him in a home with small children, but kids that are older, and treat dogs with love and respect would be fine. KC is best suited to be an only dog – he wants all the attention to himself! A fenced back yard to play in would be wonderful, as well. He really enjoys going outside and hanging out in nature.

Personality
He loves to run around the yard, play with fuzzy dog toys (small ones), sitting in front of a cozy fireplace in the winter, or on the lake with the ducks in the summertime. He loves peaceful environments, and belly rubs!

Due to working long hours and also welcoming a new baby into our home we’re faced with having to make the choice of finding a home more suited for KC.
