Meet Luna, Boxer American Pit Bull Terrier Dog For Adoption in San Diego CA
Luna is an adorable female Boxer mix dog for adoption in San Diego, California. This pretty girl is barely past puppyhood (16 months old) and weighs 46 pounds (just the right size for lots of cuddles!)
If ever there were a dog that was “ready to love”, it’s Luna. Just adopt – and enjoy! Luna is spayed, up to date on shots, and very healthy. She is fully trained; potty trained, crate trained, leash trained and obedience trained. She even knows several commands. She is a happy dog and very eager to please. She is good with other dogs, and is fond of children of all ages. Luna is incredibly smart, and has unlimited potential for training. She could easily become the next Instagram sensation with her adorable face and cute personality!
Luna is the perfect dog for almost any family, so long as they don’t own a cat. Luna is not quite sure what a cat is, but she has learned that they are very fun to chase. Her current home has a very well loved cat called “Meatball”, and Luna is making his life Hell. As hard as it is for Luna’s family, they need to do what is right for their first pet (Meatball), and find Luna an amazing new home where she will receive the love, playtime and exercise, veterinary care and unconditional love that she needs and very much deserves. Her new family should have a large, securely fenced yard, and lots of time to spend with her. Luna is a very special dog, and gives back far more than she receives.

♥ Health Problems: Nope! She’s up to date on shots as well

The only thing is she doesn’t like cats. She wants to chase our cat, she hyper focuses on him and will attack him.
♥ Gets along with: Babies, Toddlers, Small Children, Older Children, Dogs
♥ Pet is: Fully vaccinated, Crate Trained, House Broken, Leash Trained, Obedience Trained

She’s on Iams chicken recipe. She gets two cups in the morning, and evening. She usually doesn’t eat all of her food in rhe morning, she does best at night.
Luna’s Personality
She is a really happy girl! She is a very quick learner as well. She has learned how to walk correctly in a leash, she loves her crate/ no issues with staying in one. She’s also potty trained: never had an accident inside. She also knows many commands: sit, stay, shake, high 5, roll over and a few other commands. She is eager to please as well. She’s a really good girl and learns insanely quick.
Again, she’s a really great girl and it kills us to rehome her so quickly. We’ve had her for only two weeks and she’s learned our rules so quickly.
Why is Luna Being Rehomed?
She isn’t a fan of my cat, meatball! We’ve had her for two weeks, and we waited about a week to introduce her. She was okay at first, and then she has begun to chase him if he moves too much or too fast. Also, if I get in between them she snaps at me or whoever is trying to break it up. I’m pregnant so it’s a little unnerving
