What do you get when you combine the best qualities of three of the best family dogs in existence? Me!
My name is Charlie, and I am a 1.5 year old mixed breed. I am nature’s designer dog! A healthy, smart, affectionate, playful and obedient mix of Chocolate Labrador Retriever, German Shepherd and American Pitbull Terrier. There may be other breeds in the mixture, and you can probably have lots of fun guessing what they are!
I weigh 42 pounds, so I am just the right size – not too big, and not too small.
I am already neutered and microchipped. I am up to date on my shots and have been very well taken care of by my current owner, who is so heartbroken to have to make the difficult decision to find me a good home.
You are probably wondering why a great dog like me is being rehomed, aren’t you? Well, to be honest, I am very lonely. My owner has such a busy work schedule that I spend far too much time at home, all by myself. He has noticed that I seem to be very sad, and he wants me to be happy. He and I agree that this is not the right situation for me. I need and deserve a family to love me and give me all their attention.
I would dearly love to spend time with people instead of being stuck in a crate by myself, waiting for my owner to come home every day. I am a sweet and gentle soul. I love to play with other dogs, I ADORE children, and I am a great listener. Devoted family companion doesn’t even begin to describe me.
I would love a home with a securely fenced back yard to play in. (And some great kids to throw the ball for me!). I am house broken, polite and ready to become your first hand family member.
Please offer me a home today and save me from my loneliness. I can’t wait to meet you and show you what the perfect family dog looks like!
Love and Licks,
Charlie

Charlie’s Current Home Environment
Very calm and relaxing.
Charlie’s Current Family:
I live alone, so it’s just me who is responsible and cares for Charlie.
Charlie’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?
Charlie loves balls, sticks, chasing water from the water hose, any toys really. He loves cooked chicken, but I mix it with Grain Free wet food. He loves to run, and I take him for bike rides and he loves the dog parks.
Why is Charlie Being Rehomed?
My work schedule has changed so much so that I’m not able to spend any time with him. I see his personality changing, that is, where he once was very energetic, now I see him becoming more sad and lonely.
Charlie’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
A family that can spend quality time with him. A family that wants him to learn and cares for his integration with others.
Additional Comments:
Charlie is chipped as well.
