Frequently Asked Questions About Our Edmonton Pet Rehoming Services

How long does it take to find a home for my pet in Edmonton?

The length of time varies, and it is not possible to provide an exact time frame. This is because every pet is different, and this makes a huge impact on time frame. Some pets can find homes fairly quickly, and it can take quite a bit longer for other pets. There are other factors, too, such as the time of year, the overburdened shelters and rescues, the economy, things that may be going on in Edmonton and area at any given time, and other factors.

Our goal is always to find each pet the very best home as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and cooperation with our rehoming efforts. We are all part of the same team.

How much do your pet rehoming services cost?

We have three different pet rehoming packages that cost different amounts. You can learn about our packages and what each includes here.

Why do you charge a fee?

Much of the fee that we charge goes towards direct costs in advertising your pet on Facebook, Instagram and Google Ads.
Without charging a fee, Edmonton Pet Rehoming Services would not be able to operate. We are not a rescue organization or charity, so do not receive donations to pay for our operations.
Many hours of work and a good deal of expense goes into each pet rehoming project that we take on, from writing compelling adoption stories and preparing photos, videos, graphics, social media posts and ads, to communicating back and forth with you and prospective adopters.
There is also the overhead that we pay for all of the services we use in promoting each pet, from our high speed internet server to the graphic design programs, social media posting platform and other software needed to do what we do effectively.

What is your refund policy?

You can request a full refund within 48 hours of placing your request, if you change your mind. Once the rehoming process is underway, we are not able to offer full refunds, due to work having been done on your pet’s behalf.

Within the first week, you can request a 60% refund.
After the first week has gone by, should you decide to stop the process, you can request a 40% refund up until 8 weeks have gone by.
After 8 weeks, you can request a 25% refund.
After 12 weeks, we are not able to offer refunds.

Please note: there is NO LIMIT to the amount of time we will continue to list your pet and search for a home.
