Foster care can often be a great solution in these situations. For a small fee, Pet Adoptions Network will help you locate a safe, caring home with pet lovers who will provide your pet with a temporary place to stay.
How Does Our Pet Foster Program Work?
If your pet is in urgent need of a foster home for a month or longer – or until a suitable permanent home can be found, you can request that our rehoming team locate someone who can offer a safe, happy and healthy foster home.
Because we provide services wherever our clients need us throughout the USA and Canada, we generally do not have foster homes ready to go. Each pet is different and will require a unique foster situation. Some pets are not well suited to a foster home with small children, while others will need a large, securely fenced back yard. A pet with separation will need a home where someone is home during the day, such as with a senior or retired dog lover.

Fees For Foster Care
To request our foster care services, there is a one time fee for the expense and work involved in locating a suitable foster home. The one time fee is $250.00
Once a foster home is found and you agree to place your pet in their care, there is a weekly gratuity that you will pay directly to the foster care provider. This is $400 per month for a cat, and $600 per month for a dog. If there is more than one pet, then the fee will be an additional 60% of the fee for the first pet.
Pet Supplies and Vet Care
You will be expected to cover any costs for your pet’s nutrition and supplies, and any vet care that may be needed. The best way to provide supplies is to have a regular delivery set up from Amazon.com, Chewy.com or a similar online pet supplies provider,.
