Mazy’s Personality

She is high energy, friendly and happy with her family. She is good with our cat, and does well with our other dogs. She likes her chew toys and playing with the other dogs. She likes attention and petting and will sit beside you for some petting when she can. She is terrified of fire, and won’t go near an open flame.

Why is Mazy Being Rehomed?

We rescued Mazy from a shelter to be a companion dog for our new cocker spaniel. We are experienced dog owners, and have successfully adopted and raised multiple dogs over 20+ years and fully expected to be able to give Mazy a loving lifetime home.

However, we have found that we do not have the ability to give Mazy the intensive time and focus to get her to learn how to live in our family. We have brought in a trainer to help us help her, and it just is not enough.

Mazy needs a firm owner who is good with training working dogs and knows how to set and keep expectations and boundaries.
