Athena gets along well with other dogs. Although she has very little experience around children, she would likely be good with kids 8 and above.

Athena is an amazing companion. She is very smart and keen on making her owners happy. She is very affectionate and has a sunny personality. She really shines when she goes for a walk – so has so much joy that it’s contagious. She loves to meet new people.
Athena is being rehomed through no fault of her own. Both of her owners are working 2 jobs just to make ends meet, which results in this energetic older puppy spending way too much time alone. Because of their work schedule, there has not been enough time to house-train Athena or work on her recall.
Athena will shine in a home with dog lovers who will cherish her. She needs a bit more training, but she is very smart and learns quickly. She would love to have a family with kids to play and cuddle with. She needs a big, securely fenced yard and a family who will commit to providing her with a loving home in which she will be cherished and kept safe, happy and healthy for life.

She sits like a person on the couch and she sleeps in the cutest positions ever. One time my girlfriend was watching 101 Dalmatians movie and she spent the whole movie sitting in front of the tv trying to communicate with the cartoon dogs.
Why is Athena Being Rehomed?
We both work 2 jobs so we are out of home for a lot of hours everyday and unfortunately we don’t have the time to train her properly and give her the attention she needs to release that energy. Also the house we live in has an open yard and she doesn’t know yet how not to run to the street so that turns into a dangerous situation and she needs the space to run and play.
Athena’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
It could be a family, a couple or a single person but they need to have the will and time to give her love and attention and to train her properly because she is still a puppy. They need to have a fenced yard because she doesn’t know how to stay away from the street or cars so that could be dangerous for her. As long as she is with someone that can give her time, space, training and love she is the cutest and most loving dog ever!
I would want to know that she is in a good place getting all she needs that’s why we want to rehome her through your service but we wouldn’t like to bother the new owner.
