Looking for a Border Collie mix for adoption in Nashville? Sly is looking for a very good home. This special dog is a unique mix of BC and Karelian Bear Dog. He is 6 years old, healthy, neutered and up to date on his shots. He gets along well with respectful children, and is looking for a loving home with owners who can give him the time and attention he needs and deserves.

Sly is a Bear Dog / Border Collie mix dog looking for a loving new home. He needs a home with a back yard for him to play in. He is 6 years young and weighs 60 pounds. Sly is healthy, fixed, up to date on shots and house trained. He would love a home in the country where he can practice his Bear Dog skills. He currently lives with a senior lady in town, but she is moving and will not be able to keep him in her new residence.

He is a very intelligent and devoted dog. Sly loves to swim, and is an amazing dog looking for a family who will cherish him. He will be rehomed with all supplies and veterinary records. Adopt Sky today!

Sly’s Personality

Sly is really a good dog, loving and affectionate to me and my family members, he is well behaved, obedient and knows, sit, stay, down
Was crate trained however I didn’t feel the need to it so now he really doesn’t like it., big mistake on my part. Sleeps through the night, has regular bowel habits, and is house trained. Loves the water, and to chase a ball..he will almost bring to back to me…and will allow me to take any of his toys as well as any undesirable food he finds while walking.

My decision to rehome Sly has been a difficult one, I do not take pet ownership lightly.

Why is Sly Being Rehomed?

Sly is being rehomed because his owner, a senior, is moving to a residence which does not allow big dogs.

Sly’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

A loving family that can provide him with a large, securely fenced yard. Sly needs a family who can take him for long walks, hikes, swims and other adventures.
