Pet is: Spayed, Neutered, Microchipped, Fully vaccinated, Litter Trained
Food: Other
Both cats eat Wellness canned food two times per day (morning and evening). Sometimes we give them dry kibble as a treat. While they seem to prefer the kibble, Mila needs to be on a “wet food” diet because she has had bladder stones in the past. We’ve only ever had one issue with the bladder stones before switching her diet. This was about seven years ago, and the wet food seems to be keeping it under control. Enzo does not require a special diet, but can get an upset tummy from certain brands of food.

Enzo’s Personality

Active, loves to play, will catch flies and other bugs around the house, loves to cuddle and have his face pet. A bit shy in the beginning–takes him a little longer to warm up to new people, but is very loyal and loving once he does.

Why is Enzo Being Rehomed?

A combination of issues has lead us to conclude that our cats may be happier with another family. My husband and I have an eight-month-old baby who has a severe case of eczema, and we believe an allergy to the cats may be exacerbating the issue. Additionally, we are currently without childcare due to covid-19 safety precautions. We both split our time between work and childcare, leaving very little time for anything else. And we fear that, as a result, our cats are no longer getting the attention they need and deserve. We have recently decided to relocate to be closer to family who can support us by providing childcare during this time and do not want to put our cats through the stress of a cross-country move if there’s another family right here in NYC who can take good care of them.

Enzo’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

Enzo will adapt to any home where he is treated with love, kindness and respect. Most cats are quite terrified of babies and toddlers, but Enzo should be accepting of respectful children who treat him like the precious fur baby that he is.
