This handsome large breed dog has been fixed, fully vaccinated, micro-chipped, house-broken, and leash trained.
Lenny is one of the most unique looking young dogs you will find. He has odd eyes – one brown and one a gorgeous crystal blue. He has tall, perky ears and a thick, glossy coat in shades of charcoal, tan, black and white. But as handsome as he is, Lenny’s personality really steals the show.

Lenny is a cuddle bug, and sometimes considers himself to be a lap dog. He’s very affectionate and loyal, with plenty of enthusiasm and joy for life. Lenny enjoys the company of children older than 8, and he is very good meeting new people. Dog-friendly cats are just fine with Lenny, but he is best suited to be the only dog in his new home.

Lenny’s owner is very sad to have to rehome her cherished dog. As her career has taken off and required more and more of her time, Lenny is frequently left home alone. Spending so much time on his own is taking a toll on Lenny, and a large breed dog living in a city apartment just isn’t ideal.
Lenny needs to be in a home with a family, couple or single who doesn’t need to leave him all alone all day, and who have the time, space, energy and ability to provide him with the companionship, exercise and playtime he needs and very much deserves. Lenny is looking for a home where he will be cherished and kept safe, happy, and healthy for life.

Lenny’s Personality
Lenny is a cuddle bug, wanting just to sit and have you scratch him and be a big lap dog. He loves to play, fetch and zoom around when outside, but is sensible and calm inside. He is talkative (and can be quite persuasive when telling you what he wants).
Why is Lenny Being Rehomed?
My job has been steadily increasing in time commitment forcing me to leave Lenny home for long hours as I have not been able to get consistent help with dog walkers etc.
Spending all day alone in a small, city apartment is no life for any dog, particularly one as sociable and dedicated as Lenny is. He needs a nice, big, securely fenced yard to play in, and owners who can spend time playing fetch with him, taking him for walks, and enjoying time outdoors. He’s a large breed dog that needs adequate daily exercise to be happy and healthy. His staying on his own all day is taking a toll on him mentally, and he is starting to show signs of separation anxiety. He needs to be part of a fun, active family, whether that is a home-school family, active, retired dog owners, or someone permanently working from home.
Lenny needs and deserves more than I am able to give him right now, and at they end of the day I just want the best for him.
