Australian Shepherd Rehoming In Arizona

REHOMED! 0z Found His Forever Family in Phoenix

Australian shepherd rehoming in arizona

Oz, a gorgeous purebred Australian Shepherd needed a new home when his owner’s health problems prevented her from providing him with the attention and exercise he needed to thrive. Our Phoenix pet rehoming team found him a really good home with a young family in rural Arizona within just a week. Congratulations, Oz!

Here’s how we presented Oz to attract potential adoptive families:

Gorgeous Purebred Australian Shepherd. 11 Months, For Adoption

Hi, My name is Oz. I am a PUREBRED Australian Shepherd (Aussie)
I am just 11 months old, healthy and up to date on my shots.
I am high energy. I love other dogs. I am good with cats (MOST OF THE TIME)
I am house broken and crate trained.

If you have been thinking about adding and Aussie to your family, Oz is a wonderful boy looking for a loving home. He is a very handsome fellow, very healthy and up to date on his vaccinations. Like all members of his breed, Oz has a lot of energy, and needs to be kept busy doing stuff. He would be a great choice for a ranch or acreage home, or for an active single, couple or family with lots of time to spend with him, and lots of energy to play with him and take him for walks. He would make a fantastic running partner!

Oz is dearly loved by his family, who are heartbroken to have to make this difficult decision. Severe health issues have made it very difficult for them to keep up with Oz and his need for activity and engagement, and they realize that he will be happier in a more active and stimulating environment.

Oz As a Young Puppy

OZ’s Personality

He is VERY Spunky, Loving. Playful, Loves task and is Very much an Aussie.
He is potty trained. Loves Bath time and water.
He plays well with our Weiner dog and hangs out with the cats but will chase if they run.

OZ’s Current Home Environment

Quiet

OZ’s Current Family:

Mom with MS, Daughter with special needs

OZ’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

He loves to play fetch and snuggle but thinks he’s still 30 pounds.
He Loves carrots, sleeps in crate with his favorite toy of the week.
He does not eat cheap grocery store dog food and hasn’t since I bought him when he was 3 months.

Cute OZ Story:

Why is OZ Being Rehomed?

I have MS and he is too much for me to handle.
He is a purebred and absolutely Beautiful. VERY Sweet but needs more
attention than I can provide him with. It is not fair for him and he deserves an
owner who can spend the time with him he needs.

OZ’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

Someone experienced with the breed, who has the time & yard to accommodate the breed.
He is truly true to his breed and requires someone who will be with him & give him tasks. He would do great
in a ranch setting. He loves to herd. Loves to be with people and hates to be alone. He would do well with a
buddy his size to play with.

IMPORTANT!

REHOMING SERVICES FEES

The safety and effectiveness of our private pet rehoming services rely on our ability to pay for targeted advertising for your pet, the hard work of our rehoming team, and careful screening of potential owners for your pet through background checks and reference screening. We ask for a reasonable one-time intake fee to rehome each pet, which gives us a fund from which to pay for these expenses.

Please note: If you would like to chat with one of our pet rehoming coordinators before paying this fee, please select "I will submit fees after consultation", from the drop down menu below.

If you prefer to skip our extensive screening/placement guidance services and rehoming guarantee, please choose the "basic" or "classified" services option (just $8.95 and $35.00).

Questions? Text your question to (888) 833-2128 and we will reply to you as soon as possible.
