Charlie’s Current Home Environment

We are on the go a lot, which is the reason for needing to rehome. He needs a home that will be around and give him more attention. If he gets out, he will run…so needs to be monitored and on a leash while out.
He is potty trained, crate trained and had training as a puppy.

Charlie’s Current Family:

We got Charlie at 10 weeks old as newlyweds. Soon after, we had our first son and then just recently welcomed our second son. With two young children, jobs, etc – our lives are only getting more busy and we feel terrible that we leave our dog home a lot.

He has access to inside and outside, plus a backyard to play, but needs more attention. He also goes to Camp-Run-A-Mutt once a week to get out energy and socialize with other dogs (he still prefers the humans though!). He does bark at the doorbell and knocking or if he hears the lawnmower/vacuum.

Charlie’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

Charlie LOVES food. He is fed twice a day (morning and night) with a few treats (carrots, dog treats, peanut butter, bully sticks) – he would eat all day if he could. We don’t do many toys, because he tears them apart. But all chewing toys are great – bones, etc.

He absolutely loves walks and laying on your lap at night. He loves to sleep in bed, but we put him in his crate for night sleeping mostly. He does not like the water (pool/beach)!

Cute Charlie Story:

Charlie is a very lovable dog – he is SUPER loyal. He will wait by the door for you to get home and will lick and love you all day long. He is GREAT with our boys too. He howls when they cry and sits right next to them.

Why is Charlie Being Rehomed?

Change in lifestyle – with two young kids, we don’t have as much time and he deserves a family/home that will love him and give him lots of attention!

Charlie’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

We want a home that will love him like a part of their family. He needs walks, attention and stability. He should also be the only pet.

Additional Comments:

We would LOVE updates and pictures!!! But we understand if that is too much for the new owner. Charlie is our fur baby and we want the absolute BEST for him!
