Cute Koda Story:
Koda enjoys lounging in his crate, in our bedroom, with us in the morning while we are having coffee in bed. Not a couch cuddler, he prefers to show is love by just being in the room with his big dogs. He is just such a quiet, gentle soul.
Why is Koda Being Rehomed?
We have 3 cats in the home and this has proven to be a difficult and unsafe enviornment for them. He does very well with other medium to large size dogs. Attends play school 1-3 times per week and plays very well with the other dogs. No aggression and staff reports that he is the first to show submission should tension arise in the group.
Koda’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
Preferably a home with another dog, or the intention to be a 2 dog home.
Additional Comments:
This truly is breaking our heart. We adopted Koda in January 2022 with the intention of creating years of memories and could have never imagined the stalking/ cornering and high pray drive with the cats. Has not responded to corrections or re-directions. Have consulted behaviorist. Preference to keep Koda with us until we can find him a suitable home situation.
