Cute Cairo Story:

This happened 2 months ago, Cairo was a stray dog found on our back patio which followed my husband on a 2 mile walk. When my husband got home he went on our back patio again. We called animal control, which picked him up. We were unaware the shelter has a threshold limit to hold animals and Cairo was scheduled to be euthanized. Our family, collectively agreed to step in to save him from this fate.

Why is Cairo Being Rehomed?

We simply can’t afford or have the time to dedicate to him as we feel he needs. We just want a good home that he gets to have the best dog life possible. Unfortunately, we have a full house right now with everyone working and school, and recognizing he is in a crate for the majority of his day. Not fair to him.
