Gabriel is a Male Back and White cat for adoption to a very loving home in or near Peoria, Arizona. This very special cat is 13 years old and weighs 11 pounds of purrfection. Gabriel is what we call a “ready to love” cat. He has been fixed, fully vaccinated, litter trained, and well socialized with people and cat-friendly dogs.
Affectionate and friendly, Gabriel has a wonderful personality and can be described as “dog-like” at times. Though he is happy to cuddle, Gabriel is also happy to play or lounge around independently. His sweet and goofy demeanor will be sure to capture your heart. In short, Gabriel is great!

1. I love how affectionate he is. He’ll often jump on your lap and just sit there until you hug him.
2. I love how playful he is. He enjoys a lot of the typical cat toys, but also loves to play fetch with hair tyes.

4. I love how smart he is. Even though, sometimes he uses it to get into things he shouldn’t.

He’s a very affectionate boy. He loves being pet and loves cuddling with you at night or sitting on your lap. He’s also very talkative and loves playing with toys.
Gabriel’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?
Since he’s older, he mostly likes to just sit on your lap or next to you. But he still gets in a playful mood now and then. Particularly with pens. He loves to play with pens for some reason. He has eaten Iams kibble his whole life, but also enjoys wet food.
Cute Gabriel Story:
When he was younger, he escaped out the back door and ran away. I wasn’t able to find him and was really upset about it. After 8 days, he found his way back and I was able to bring him back inside and feed him. I just remember how happy he was to be home. He was glued to me for several days.
Why is Gabriel Being Rehomed?
Because of a change in family situation, he became aggressive towards other cats. I’ve done everything I can think to do. I’ve brought him to the vet to check for health issues, I’ve consulted an animal trainer, spent many hours researching online and working with him personally. I really don’t want to get rehome him, but unfortunately, I’m not able to provide him with a cat-free home at this time, which means I’ve had to isolate him. It saddens me to keep him isolated because I know that’s not what’s best for him. I want him to be free to roam in a loving home.
Gabriel’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
He needs to be in a cat-free home, with an individual/family that can give him lots of love. He’s lived with dogs before and hasn’t had any problem. Although, I expect that introduction to new dogs might be scary for him at first. It’s also possible that he might be able to get along with cats at some point in the future. Again, he’s been around hundreds of cats/kittens in his life.
