Mavi is just 10 months old and weighs 20 kg. He has been fixed and fully vaccinated. Mavi is also house trained.

If ever there were a “fish out of water” pet adoption story, this is it. Mavi is very unhappy at the moment, and is acting out with his owner. The owner was not aware of just how much exercise and mental stimulation a herding dog needs when Mavi was adopted, and things have gone from bad to worse.

Mavi’s owner is not able to give him the time, exercise, play and training he needs. This has led to a vicious cycle of anxiety and undesirable behaviour, each feeding the other. Mavi needs a home with a big fenced yard, owners who are very active and can give him the walks/runs, games of fetch and keep-away and ongoing positive reinforcement that he needs to adopt new behaviors while leaving others.
