Skylar is a brown and white female Border Collie American Bulldog mix dog for adoption to a very loving home in or near Houston Texas. This very special Dog is 2 1/2 years old and is a medium sized dog, weighing about 30 pounds.

This gorgeous 2 year old female dog is healthy, fixed, up to date on shots, crate trained and house broken. Skylar is very good with children, and gets along well with other pets – both dogs and cats.

She is a medium sized dog at 30 pounds, and has a smooth, short white coat with big patches of tan. She has the longest tail in Texas, and big, pointy ears that are somewhat perky and somewhat droopy. With a big tan patch over one eye, Skylar is so adorable that you can’t look at her without breaking a smile.

This ready-to-love dog is being rehomed by her owners, who want the very best for her. They are not able to give Skylar the time, attention or exercise she needs and deserves, and are worried for her well-being. My husband and I adopted Skylar 3 years ago from the Houston Animal Shelter when she was 6 months.At the time we were newly married with no kids and was excited to get our first pet together. Skylar has been a joy to our home, she is super sweet and loving. She is very hyper and loves to run outdoors. She is house broken and follows simple commands such as sit, lay and stay. She knows to sit before feedings and when to go to her cage. Since we have had Sklyar our family has grown really fast, we now have a 18 month old daughter and will be welcoming our 2nd daughter in just 30days. Caring for my daughter and skylar has been a challenge I didnt expect and has not allowed us much time with Skylar, and with the new baby coming soon I know my time with Skylar will be limited even worse. She is often left in the back yard bored. I feel so bad for her and think it is time to find a family who has older kids or single and can give her the attention she deserves.
