Have you been looking for Border Collie or German Shepherd puppies for adoption in Calgary? We have been asked to find very good homes for a litter of absolutely adorable 8 week old puppies in Southwest Calgary.

This was an “oops” litter, but Mother Nature pulled out all the stops in creating these incredible little creatures! They are a mix of German Shepherd and Border Collie, with a healthy dash of some Mystery Mutt genetics added to make them ultra-adorable and extra healthy.

The puppies were born in their owner’s home and have been lovingly raised, carefully socialized and prepared for life around people, children, dogs, cats and household activities. They have been fed a highly nutritious, premium puppy food (Acana) once they were ready for solid food.

The puppies have not been vaccinated or checked by a veterinarian, but all are obviously healthy and have not been exposed to other dogs, aside from the owner’s Chihuahua.

WHAT TYPE OF HOME WILL BE SUITABLE FOR THESE PRECIOUS PUPPIES?

Prospective homes should be ready, willing and able to offer the time, attention, care and training that each of these puppies will need to grow into the best family dogs ever.

The new families will need to take their puppy to the vet for first shots and a wellness check, as well as commit to spaying or neutering their puppy at the appropriate age.

There is a $200.00 adoption processing fee, and you must complete our online meeting request form. Once received and reviewed, you will be contacted by their owner to arrange a time for you to meet your puppy and take them home. We will also ask that you provide photos of your home and back yard (or nearby park for recreation for your puppy).

Meet the Gang!

They’ve all been ‘roughed up’ in play complete with tail tugs and held in our arms on their backs. They’re developing normally and really into chewing anything so be ready for that by getting some good toys to help with teething. 

Our cat Mungo is pretty unusual, he has been a good uncle and has even been inside the pen. However! If you have cats or small children, Big Bopper, Iron Maiden or Johnny Cash are better choices.

Got a slower house hold with out too much activity then Big Bopper would be a good fit.

MJ has such a strong personality and high energy she’d be suitable to a very active family of similar nature.
Might not be suitable with other fur babies or small children.

JOHNNY CASH HAS BEEN ADOPTED BY LYNNETTE

Johnny Cash is a laid back country GIRL. She takes life as it comes and rolls with the punches (or pounces from her litter mates).  She would be a good choice for a family with respectful kids.

JuJu is our Momma. She is barely past a puppy herself, but was a brave and dutiful Mommy to her adorable brood. JuJu is looking for a loving home. She is so pretty and has a loving personality and very smart. Gorgeous, too with her fabulous flowing long tail (the rest of her coat is plush – what a surprise.
